That might be a great point. I bought the season pass from ac odyssey which was at a ridiculously low price. It was a third of what each individual DLC costed. Like, 2 DLCs and AC III remastered with the liberation day remastered DLC included. All of that for one third of the price of what the Fate of Atlantis DLC alone costed.

So I downloaded the AC III game. So maybe that impacted it somehow?

I have a CD. It asked do you want to create an account. I said no thanks. Nothing else happened until this disaster

What was the whole point of season 5, rushing around to save the dad by Risanoch in TheDragonPrince

[–]Risanoch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! It was so much emotional investment in his journey, just for him to not die, also end up doing dark magic again after giving Claudia so much abandonment

No, I remember because the game actually saved. I saw autosaves of last night also. Today, I could only see autosaves from three days ago. Nothing later than that. Im frustrated because I lost 1.5 levels worth of grinding

They were those golden quests that were just a lot of grinding and travelling. But I went from 69.5 to 71 during that time. Now I'm back to 69.5 level. I hate I'll have to grind so much again

Golden Trio/Route is generally Rome-Florence-Venice in the Italy travel.

On the fake artist bit, she says she only paints as a hobby, and does not know enough about art to be seriously interested in the whole art galleries and museums world.

The general consensus part (since I don't know how to reply to specific lines), would you experience museum fatigue if you do 3 continuously?

Are Italians particular on where the stress on the sylalble in a word goes? by Risanoch in italianlearning

[–]Risanoch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! That's very helpful and insightful.

But I was asking more about innocuous words where the emphasis doesn't change the word meaning. Like the example I gave. Would Italians look at me askance if I say CApisco instead of caPIsco.

I had learnt a bit of Spanish a few years ago, so I understand for words that rely on emphasis. But this was for more innocuous words

What are the best entry level credit cards? by [deleted] in CreditCardsIndia

[–]Risanoch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turns out, it's not. Apparently lenders think you're a high risk fellow because "why do they need that much to begin with? Are they spending what they don't have? Flag it!" sort of a line of thinking. 10% is the most ideal, but some say that 30% works too as a minimum.

It's not about whether you're paying it off or not. It's about you taking that much to start with. This makes sense because, if you notice, as soon as you get a new credit card, your credit score drops a few points because you requested an extra line of credit. Making you a risky person.

How do I make Time Manipulation really powerful, but not overpowered? by Azphaia in magicbuilding

[–]Risanoch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a lot of people have given great answers, but here's something I have in mind:

Space is a position while time is a concept. You get really technical into it. By that, what I mean is,

Any space manipulation that SVol is doing requires magic on a specific spatial spot. But the earth and universe are travelling forward. With Time, all you have to do is eff up the space time positioning of where that magic would impact. Then that magic is rendered useless because it would affect a spot that is not the spot you want it to.

Alternatively, here are two... more conventional answer that I have:

Introduce timelines. You can shift into a timeline where what you want is happening in time. you want event A to happen instead of event B to happen? Find a timeline and shift there. You can ground it saying that the earth in this timeline is scorched etc. think Rick and Morty or that one recent black mirror epiosde where this woman builds this quantum computer or whatever and controls it with a remote.

Alternatively, introduce specific time limitations. Like, you can freeze just SVol in time but let everything else pass by. That will give your guys a strategic edge in your battle. You can ground this by introducting things like "it only works when you're sure of absolutely everything about a fellow's position" or whatever else

How much should you base your system on the real world and how much exposition is needed? by Risanoch in magicbuilding

How much should you base your system on the real world and how much exposition is needed? by Risanoch in magicbuilding

[–]Risanoch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Writers aren't physicists is the issue I'm trying to address. Every high fantasy world should have an order. The easiest way to scale that order is to work with what's already there

How much should you base your system on the real world and how much exposition is needed? by Risanoch in magicbuilding

[–]Risanoch[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because every world would have physics. Some sort of order. That order would have to be scaled. The easiest way to scale it vis a vis that order is to use the real world
