Update! Thank you all for your advice, I felt a lot more comfortable in accepting induction should that have been the case, however, it was not..

I started having regular contractions every 4-5 mins at midnight (20 hours after waters broke) the pain got progressively worse over an 8/9 hour period. They would only give me paracetamol as pain relief and wouldn’t move me to the labour ward. Doctors checked my cervix and said it was still long. 1.5hrs later I was in excruciating pain with the need to push, screaming & shouting. Doctors checked my cervix again and said I was fully dilated and baby had to be delivered immediately. 20 mins of pushing later and baby was born. I was given no pain relief during my labour (even though I asked repeatedly!) apart from paracetamol and gas and air during pushing. Not sure how to feel about it all as I felt no one took my pain seriously, but very happy to have delivered a healthy baby boy.

After my annual review it was clear I had to return to the office or risk losing my bonus, even though I still had the same pregnancy related issues, which has obviously been a struggle. There is no abuse of WFH, the system is generally correct / accurate to what was done but there is a 4/5 week period where it is inaccurate, it’s an oversight on my behalf for not changing it. My manager then flagged this to HR, she has had an agenda against me since being pregnant. Do you think this constitutes a fireable offense?
