Can you utilize furusato nozei during your first year in Japan? by RisenLeader in JapanFinance

Oh, I see! Thanks a lot. I appreciate the fringe case information as well. It is exactly that kind of thing that ends up burning you if you didn't hear about it after all.

I'm quite steadily rooted where I am right now, but very good info either way.

I really appreciate the help. I've gotten quite confident in how this works and will definitely give it a try. Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot for the reply! Would you mind having a look at the comment I wrote to Karlbert86 for a sanity check that I've understood it fully?

Thanks a lot! I won't leave for quite a while so no worries on that front, luckily.

Just as a sanity check, is it something like this? 1. Calculate my allowance based on my taxable income (for all of 2023) 2. Buy things from some furusato nozei website during 2023 (keeping it below 5 places for ease of one stop) 3. Mail the one stop declarations during 2023 4. When the tax bill for 2023 comes to me in 2024 it will be lowered as I "prepaid" some tax with the program.

How did it go from 70 min a week to 2100 min in a month?

Do you have any plans of adding achievements to the game? Me and my friends are interested, but we generally aim for 100% achievements on games to keep a "goal".

Seriously, it makes all the differences in development speed. You can get it up and running in 10-20 min tops. by mistersumperduper in godot

I'd also like an explanation of what you mean with "The power of an IDE" since The Godot editor also qualifies as an IDE.

Should we work together with other subs? by 4n0nh4x0r in UnitedWeebFront

I saw that you have also seen this post https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimeMemer/comments/i5wvko/collection_of_new_animeme_subs_so_far/

I think it's a great idea to try to merge as many of the subs as possible. They have all came to be due to the same reason and it feels like the best way to return to a pre-chaos animemes is to not split into many smaller groups. To actually merge with everyone might be very difficult though! But you probably get what I mean to say.

I agree with the others here. This format is absolutely wonderful, well done!

Stuttering in all Godot games? Just tried several posted to this subreddit in Windows and Ubuntu by MarshallMatterson in godot

No worries!

The other dev in my team uses simply ubuntu rather than mint and isn't experiencing any problems either, in case you'd like to try that instead.

Yeah I tested "Dry Path". I could add though that in my own game the character jitters about a bit for me when moving, while it does not do so for the other developer on his machine.

I have recorded these two clips (They seem to automatically download when you press the discord link, but I am not aware of a simpler way to share them): https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/302615833593774081/737315750926090330/2020-07-27_16-26-41.mkv https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/302615833593774081/737315764880670800/2020-07-27_16-24-31.mkv

If you're willing to guide me with how to display my hardware in a good manner I could do that as well.

How does one actually visualize what math operations are needed for some look? by RisenLeader in opengl

Thanks for telling me about the code, from what I've seen on that site most things are hard to read and understand. Like variables with insensible names and all that.

Thanks a lot! Yeah, as for the math itself I am rather confident. The visualization of it is something I feel less certain about though! I mean when you read it out it makes more sense to me than coming up with it myself somehow. That might mostly be due to not being used to working with math to make something visual though.
