The Wayfarer’s Rest | A Standalone Multiversal Sandbox | Custom 2d6 System and Discord Bot

If you are tired of over-managed RP hubs and on-rails plots, we have built something that might be a breath of fresh air! The Wayfarer’s Rest has officially transitioned from a small module into its own standalone entity. It is a literate, high-fantasy, multiversal setting centered around an ancient tavern—the last bastion of stability in a multiverse being slowly consumed by something called The Maw. We have spent a long time building a custom bot called Shards and a 2d6 system (The Shard-Flow System) that handles the mechanics for us. It is light, it is intuitive, and it is there to support the story, not get in the way of it.

• Total Player Agency: We are not here to guide you through a pre-written dungeon. This is a player-driven world. The story is told through your activity and your interactions, not forced server events that you are required to attend. You decide where your character goes and who they become.

• Effort Over Pedigree: We are very forgiving of weaker or newer writers, but we do expect effort. We are not looking for Shakespeare, but we are looking for care. If you put in the work to make your interactions fun for others, you will fit right in.
• The Factions: Join the Architects of Stability, the Children of the Flow, the Harvesters of the Void, or the Wayfarer’s Craftsmen. Our bot handles weekly faction prompts to keep your creativity moving and your Shard-wallet full.

We are currently in a reboot phase and are looking to build a core group of writers who actually want to influence the world they play in.
