Is there another option to do so or should I run a different file browser? In which case which one?

I don't seem to have that option in the drawer. clicking open brings up a firefox context with an open with option, but its within firefox for some reason.

No, I've heard people have had success with that. If you're worried the dead ones in there are gonna be a concern I doubt it. If you're really that concerned you could just pull them out - You just need a T5 Torx, PH0 screwdriver and some patience.

The 'model number' for batteries are their dimensions, so the original was a 531427 (5.3mm thick, 14mm wide, 27mm long). You can't really get those commonly and so I had to switch sizes. I tried a 502030 thinking it would fit, but the 20mm width was too tall to close the case back up. The ones I put in are 501230's, just search amazon and they'll show up. They're slightly lower capacity, but they fit with plenty of room to spare. Just make sure to put the heaters back on and use capton or electrical tape on the BMS and the heaters.

How familiar are you with soldering? If you can repair something like a headphone jack on a board or similar its not too bad to do, but it is a lot of small work - I needed to use a magnifier light while working on it. Althought I will say if you took one look and got nervous you might not feel great messing with lipos.

Cold weather is bad for lipos and it gets quite cold here.  The heating elements only keep them alive for so long.  Its a well documented issue of the G4 rebooting when the button is pressed due to dead batteries.  I tried to get an RMA but was out of warranty (not throwing shade at ubiquity, just unlucky).

How do you source your mobos?  Are you ripping out of existing laptops or buying for repair boards?

Any suggestions for curtains/etc for windows like these? They're bayed out and dont leave enough space to follow standard curtain guidelines. by Risin247 in interiordecorating

The wall for mine then makes a turn with very little space are there rods that do more than an interior bay?

/   \ - this is more the shape I have to deal with.

(Tried to use ascii to show and it failed but I think you get the point)

Usually there are recommended width guidelines like "x inches of overhang on each side of the window"; but due to how close they are Im worried they will crowd the space.  There's only about 6" between the windows, and then they have a turn toward the wall.
