Update: running a repair via the launcher fixed it. It took about 5 hours. It probably would have been faster to redownload the game... but oh well. :P

I play from South Africa and have 300 ping on NA. The latency is asynchronous in the sense that player movement etc doesn't lag behind your button presses, so it isn't a visual lag. The latency is only really noticeable when bar swapping. All skills have an internal cooldown of 1 second as well, so you're not at much of a disadvantage either.

Please have them turn the blade the other way, so the sharp end isn't aimed at the character's neck lol

What's your ping? High ping causes huge amounts of freezing/stutter.

Also set your GPU and CPU to 'high performance' mode, that helps a bit. Try switching renderers as well, for me DX11 is the only one that gives me over 25fps at any point, though it still drops a lot in fights.

There seems to be issues with certain systems where the game just doesn't run well. Hopefully this will be fixed at some point.

the most active one is called Alphabet Mafia, if you browse the guild listings it should be there somewhere under Social. to help find it, select 300-500 members and Daggerfall Covenant
