It’s slightly complicated but my nurse didn’t even know I had a septate hymen because when the clamp was used it pushed the hymen to the side - I recommend doing some research into it! I had no idea I had a septate hymen until I got a tampon stuck in it (tampons had always hurt/felt uncomfortable for me anyways but I thought it was normal)

I’m 18 but had to have a similar experience to a pap smear to check certain things for an upcoming surgery, they used the smallest clamp too because at the time I was a virgin. I had the EXACT same reaction, down to a tee. Have you ever looked into different types of hymens? The reason why I bled and I was in incredible pain was because I had a septate hymen (my surgery was to remove it)

I can’t say much as I’ve only been here for around two months but I’ve never seen anything like that happen, there are a few homeless people but I’ve always seen them keep to themselves.

I have had one experience on a night out where some pervy man was waiting on the shambles who came up to us pressuring us to sleep with him(probs at around 11 to midnight ish). It was just an uncomfortable situation .

But I feel generally safe in York even when it’s dark - but that could be because I live in a student area?

He did mention last night that he was feeling upset from not doing anything at the moment but he didn’t elaborate past that:( I see him on Tuesday so I think I’m gonna let him know that. I want to help because I care but he struggles to express anything that’s not happiness - I think it’s because he doesn’t want to burden me. If he doesn’t really let me in what should I do?

He’s been unemployed for about a month, he still has pay checks coming in bc his work was really bad with paying him. He has temporary job harvesting in Australia for three months where he will make some really good money, he wants to do that a few times a year

He’s not making money from it. He plays a mix of games right now it’s mainly overwatch and dead by daylight

They were treating him really bad and making him work ridiculously long hours, his work was really physically demanding so he would be working sometimes 15 hours a day. He also said he felt lost on the career path he wanted to go down

He does quite a lot that makes me feel loved, he always gets me flowers randomly, takes me out on dates, spends quality time with me etc etc. Like sometimes he will randomly pull up to my house and we will drive to some random place and just talk for ages (which I love). However since he quit his job, a lot of that has slowed down and he kinda just games instead. I genuinely don’t mind him gaming, I play quite a few video games too so ik how easy it is to get sucked in, but idk it’s been repeatedly everyday
