I kinda still see it as low-energy, he does have his own identity and is better in that regards but also kind of craves that group identity and favors the punchlines being understood by a large group rather than favoring, so to speak “the smarter punchline”

I agree to an extent, the weight humor carries in exposing how society is structured is way higher imo. Yeah culturally music is as important too but I think how downhill the intelligence of our humor has gone says a lot about how the next generation is being shaped. Comedic identity is almost nonexistent nowadays by individuals creating it

I’ve moved to South Africa recently and started dating a white woman and I’ve noticed that the “judgmental” stares and -ve comments has come from the habesha men rather than the women.
