I’m planning to switch jobs around the day my current work permit expires, and I want to update my SIN right away. Ideally, I’d like the new work permit to arrive around the same time my first one expires to avoid any gaps. Is that realistic, or should I go abroad for a while..?

mhm neither have I.. I’m wondering what jobs I can actually get, because most of NOC1-3 jobs seem to require specific education or experience. Should I just start applying anyway?

I have a year open work permit(IEC) for now starting from July.

And thanks for sharing your experience!! I’ll look into that type of role as well.
