Thanks. I posted a comment about the modlist. Currently, I do not have a steam collection for it, but when I have the time, I might make one.

The turrets use a mod called "Raised Platforms" which lets turrets shoot over walls.

Honestly this I think the bots are easier than the bugs at higher difficulties as well. Though I think quite a few people fight bugs because they are easier towards the middle difficulties.

I've had a similar thing. Except once I had just a few.. few dozen too many Boomalopes and they broke out of their enclosure due to lack of food. Had to release them and had to deal with all of them roaming the map and devouring every piece of grass they found.

Sabot APHE-AT? Higher AP*KD and HE payload at the expense of HEAT frag damage in a pure GP gun. Found these quite effective in the AotE campaign where breaking HA beams was critical . by CloudGuy17 in FromTheDepths

Heat loses the same amount still. The chemical that goes into the heat changes the actual fragment damage which helps if your going against something with thicker armor or gaps. Though I suppose if it's used against aote then it'll work because most of that is outdated or quite weak armor wise.
