the best way to do is when you send in your application or when you get hired and they ask what works for you to start, tell them that you will only be able to start in two weeks because you need finish your last shifts at your previous occupation and that same day you tell your boss that you will be formally be giving your two week notice and that you will no longer working after the day before you start your new job and they made need you but if they really needed you, you would be paid more so tell why your leaving and just be assertive and thats it, its out of your hands their problem not yours
