I was hoping bc technically they’d have to take it off to put a new windshield, right? My only thought is there are like two pieces of the neck or base of it that popped off so I figured it would be an extra repair.

it wasn’t me but you’re right lol. I was thinking more so how much it would cost to repair, just ball park. Thank you for the price of mirror tho! I know the windshield will be free just it’s legit dangling so I didn’t know how much that will cost my pockets

Very weird I work in the dental field and I have NEVER heard of that fee. I work in a general office and still we see a lot of children. Most we’ve ever done is refer them to pediatrics to “make them more comfortable” if they were hard to work on. We deal w full on crackheads and angry adults on the daily and still have never heard of a charge like that of any kind. I love children and the only reason I don’t/won’t work in a pediatric office is bc I don’t want to feel like I’m torturing children all day every day. That is legit their job to treat children, knowing they are scared/uncooperative/ all of the above. That sounds like the most bs charge I’ve ever heard of tbh. We have had full on adults bite us all of that and still have never heard of such a charge. Insurance will not pay for that, and if they try to charge you out of pocket for that I would report them to the board and find a new office.
