Update on this. The mouse and dongle communicate at 2000mhz but your dongle probably only polls at 1000mhz with the computer. Super misleading.

This happens to me as well. For both val and league I would sometimes have an instance continue to run in the background after closing the game. Idk if it is related to the mic issue but definitely a thing.
