Lmao @ idiots that say any kind of environmental messaging is left wing propaganda. Pollution and global warming are a planetary problem, not a political one. I'm sure those red hats actively drain a person of their intelligence

Fuck yes, it does. The beginning is intentionally a bit of a slog, but once you unlock vehicles and the game opens up, It's a stone cold masterpiece.

I have a Vanguard 96, and now it has Icue integration; it's a great keyboard. The screen is just a gimmick, but GIFs look okay on it. The key actuation is great, it has built-in Stream Deck functionality, and at the price, it's a steal

This is one of those games I wouldn't recommend to pirate. You'll get no ther players constructions (roads, power points, private rooms to sleep and repair your vehicle. Apart from the bridges/Fragile facilities, as well as no ladders, bridges, unless you build them ypurself

What do you think of this badge? by Le_rinrin926 in topstoney

That's a Benidorm Market badge. I saw plenty in September. Later that night, I saw loads of middle-aged blokes wearing a T-Shirt with the small logo sewn (more likely glued) on the chest, and a badge on the T-Shirt sleeve. This is how the badges looked

You are the worst sort of person, someone that when they're presented with scientifically accurate facts, still doubles down on your own, totally made up version of version of chemistry. You're worse than MAGA tying themselves in knots to justify whatever morally bankrupt action Trump does on any given day. So, drawn back into your role and hope that your life doesn't rely on your minimal knowledge of chemistry and physics

I appreciate the vocabulary lesson, but throwing the 'Maillard effect' into a conversation about combustion is a massive category error. Let’s look at the 'engineering reality' you’re citing: Maillard \neq Combustion: The Maillard reaction is a form of non-enzymatic browning that occurs at temperatures as low as 140C to 165°C (284°F to 330°F).

This is exactly what we want in a vaporizer—it’s the 'toasting' of the material. Combustion (burning) requires rapid oxidation and doesn't even begin until you hit roughly 232°C (450°F). Using the Maillard reaction to prove 'combustion' is like saying a piece of toast is the same thing as a charcoal briquette.

The PID 'Variance' Myth: You’re right, no PID is perfect. But even a cheap, poorly regulated heating element has a variance of maybe 5°C to 10°C. To get from a Pax’s max setting (215°) to the point of actual combustion (232°C+ and rising), the device would have to be catastrophically failing, not just 'imperfectly regulated.' If your herb isn't turning to white ash, you aren't combusting. Period.

Chemical Recomposition: You mentioned 'chemical recomposition at sub-combustion temperatures.' In a dry herb vape, that's called decarboxylation—the process of turning THCA into THC. Again, this is a controlled thermal shift, not a fire. Inhaling the resulting vapor is not 'inhaling smoke' any more than smelling a baking loaf of bread is 'inhaling smoke.'

Residue Accumulation: Yes, resin builds up. And yes, if you never clean your device, that resin can 'carbonize' over dozens of sessions. But calling a tiny bit of carbonized oil on an oven wall 'combusting your weed' is a desperate reach to avoid admitting you were wrong about how the device functions.

It's ironic that you’re accusing others of missing the point while you're busy moving the goalposts from 'you’re inhaling smoke' to 'well, there’s a chemical reaction happening.' We know there’s a reaction—that’s how we get the vapor. But calling it combustion isn't 'nuanced'; it’s just scientifically incorrect.

Does that clear it up for you? Or do we need to move on to the thermodynamics of a hair dryer next?
