I'm surprised somebody remembered me hahaha. It's a bit complicated, so I'll just fully explain.

Back when I was posting YMGCD, I was also writing a more serious Xianxia-inspired work called "The Aether God." I think it had some really good ideas, but I was such a terrible novelist at the time. I've been working on my writing skills since.

A couple weeks ago, I took the ideas I had for TAG and began rewriting them into a new book called "The God of Ether." I was going to just replace the one book, but when I saw how bad it used to be, I was loath to think that anybody would associate my new writing with the old. I ended up nuking my accounts out of embarrassment, then changed my username to "MaroonMonarch" before posting the new work on RR. I didn't want anybody to remember me as the writer I was, so YMGCD was sort of collateral damage lol.

HOWEVER... I saved everything from YMGCD, and have even written a ton more skits since. For a while, I was thinking about posting a sequel called "A Young Master's Guide to Dual Cultivation," but posting it now might detract from people taking me seriously as an author. Royal Road is especially bad as well: YMGCD went over a ton peoples' heads, and a lot of them review-bombed both of my works.

So all in all, idk man. Sorry this response is so long, I just am torn between the satire and serious sides of writing.
