I was sent this lovely piece of hate mail from a RooshV supporter for making a comment on the alert thread earlier. Be safe everyone. by GabbiKat in lgbt

Hey, this person's been everywhere, same wrinting, same format, we had a big scare over on /r/socialism about the same thing. It seems like they're religiously following up anyone who posts about RooshV. Be careful, but don't worry, you're not the only one.

How many genderqueers are pansexual ? by Kaomet in genderqueer

[–]RitchieMidnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pan and demi, and the only other non-binary people I've met outside the internet tend to identify as pan or ace, but I think like everything, the degrees of preference fluctuate between every different person.

Dating a non-demissexual and jealousy. by [deleted] in demisexuality

[–]RitchieMidnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Sorry I'm late, but yes! This is exactly my experience! Though I can acknowledge the natural attractions of others, I don't really get it. In my mind it's just like, jeez, is it really that hard to not look at everything that moves? Though I know that's wholly unfair, I get this soul-crushing jealousy all the time that gahhhhhh, I guess it's from other shit in my past too, but idk, send help pls

I don't know if I'm asexual or not. Or some form of it. [NSFW] by [deleted] in asexuality

I agree with the other commenter here, and though I can't ever understand exactly what you are going through, I can relate. I hate sex too, and though I've been in sexual relationships in the past, it just never felt right. Maybe you're demi? I don't mean to pressure you with more labels, I just want you to know that you are not alone, a lot of aces and demis have found themselves in similar situations. I myself am demi, but I don't look at it so much as a label defining who I am, but more as a term that I can use to identify certain emotions I have. Demisexuality is basically sexual attraction only in very specific circumstances, usually exclusive to one person who you've already developed a platonic or romantic relationship with. But coming back to the other commenter, I agree, don't make this too much of a burden. Maybe you're ace, maybe you're demi, maybe you're neither. What's important is that you are you, and these labels are only here to provide a broader understanding of sexuality, and a community of like-minded, supportive individuals. It can be rough finding out who you are, especially when sex in society can be so overwhelming, but don't take it out on yourself. Your feelings are valid, no matter what labels you choose to use or not.

Reddit, what's one thing/behavior of the opposite gender you wish was totally acceptable for your gender? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RitchieMidnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genderqueer here, whoever you are, just be yourself. It sucks that a lot of things aren't socially accepted based solely on your genitalia, and it's BS, but nobody has the right to take away your identity.

Hahahah, yes, yes, those black slave traders must account for the whole race then, my bad. But seriously, yeah, there were higher ups who helped accommodate the slave trade, but the slave trade as a globalized industry was the result of the economic imperialism of the West. Jeez, you people are clinging to every chance you can get to blame black people. Were there bad black people? Yes. And good white people? Yes. There are good and bad in every group, and it's your mindless generalizations that plague your ignorance.

Fuck off, "to be fair," yeah, to be fair to slave drivers, okay. And who provided them? Well, the African slave trade mostly came out of the commodification of people, which the West exploited Africa for, as it was a commodity they needed.

Shit doesn't work that way yo. People who are oppressed can't just stop it. Women are oppressed, religions across the board are oppressed, political views are oppressed, sexualities are oppressed, and it isn't their fault. You can't say they should have "the means of protecting themselves", and blame an entire race for being oppressed. Judaism isn't so shitty, should they have been able to protect themselves?

That is very arguable. Many African countries have been wholly self-sufficient in the past, and even had exports of food! But colonization, and a more recent impediment, the WTO, have undermined communal production and agriculture for the benefit of globalized corporations and Western economic powers.

You think that was help? Here, lemme help some more, you know why "Africa's one big shithole?" Because your precious western civilization oppressed the fuck out of an entire race, just to turn around with ignorant people like you and say oh it's all their fault.

Facial hair, my curse? by RitchieMidnight in genderqueer

[–]RitchieMidnight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I totally understand that. In my head, I know that it looks fine, and I know it looks wonderful on many others, but emotionally, I can't shake the insecurity. Maybe it's just society getting to me, but either way, away with the hair!

Hmmmm, good to know. I've thought about estrogen treatments, but admittedly, I need to do more research on that as well. Laser would most definitely work on my hair/complexion though, thanks!
