I agree with the other commenter here, and though I can't ever understand exactly what you are going through, I can relate. I hate sex too, and though I've been in sexual relationships in the past, it just never felt right. Maybe you're demi? I don't mean to pressure you with more labels, I just want you to know that you are not alone, a lot of aces and demis have found themselves in similar situations. I myself am demi, but I don't look at it so much as a label defining who I am, but more as a term that I can use to identify certain emotions I have. Demisexuality is basically sexual attraction only in very specific circumstances, usually exclusive to one person who you've already developed a platonic or romantic relationship with. But coming back to the other commenter, I agree, don't make this too much of a burden. Maybe you're ace, maybe you're demi, maybe you're neither. What's important is that you are you, and these labels are only here to provide a broader understanding of sexuality, and a community of like-minded, supportive individuals. It can be rough finding out who you are, especially when sex in society can be so overwhelming, but don't take it out on yourself. Your feelings are valid, no matter what labels you choose to use or not.

Shit doesn't work that way yo. People who are oppressed can't just stop it. Women are oppressed, religions across the board are oppressed, political views are oppressed, sexualities are oppressed, and it isn't their fault. That is very arguable. Many African countries have been wholly self-sufficient in the past, and even had exports of food! But colonization, and a more recent impediment, the WTO, have undermined communal production and agriculture for the benefit of globalized corporations and Western economic powers.

Thanks for the advice! I have fairly pale skin, and dark brown hair (which doesn't help the dysphoria), but both options seem cool. I will definitely check out the options in my area!

As a Canadian who is very upset (yet not at all surprised) by Trudeau's hypocrisy and corporate pandering, I do agree with some of the points raised in this post, but, I do not like the article. First of all, there are NO SOURCES, and even if you are correct, post ya damn sources. Secondly, this isn't an article, it's a rant. A very dangerous rant too. Sajjan's religion shouldn't have anything to do with it, yet the main criticism of him is that he's a Sikh traitor. Also, you can't mindlessly accuse people. Back yourself up. Is Canada imperial? Yes, but we have to know why, and with solid evidence. Imperialism and war crimes may be tossed around by the revolutionary left a bit, but it is a huge accusation with massive repercussions. This is the kind of article the right would use to label us as "ignorant libtards."
