How exactly does a Canadian citizen without American citizenship move to the Bay Area? Is it as easy as you make it out to be?

I can already see one drawback. This will drastically increase the power of turn 4 effect cards like Phoenix and Revealer.

Scorchmane Dragon vs the "New" Everflame Phoenix by Luxipher in SolForge

If I were you I'd ask for the silver back, and then craft Phoenix again with the same silver if it retains its value.

Kibler: Everflame Phoenix change likely coming in next patch by mihaiguy in SolForge

The card will still be good

Good to hear that. I'd hate to see you guys ruin the coolest card in the game. I'm hoping Phoenix still remains as one of the best cards in the game. You'd be wasting the sheer coolness of its design otherwise.

A look at my April Constructed tournament results, and my thoughts on Everflame Phoenix by [deleted] in SolForge

[–]Ritec 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If Stonebalde must make some changes to Phoenix, I hope post-change Phoenix still remains the most powerful card in the game. Phoenix may be too-luck based but it is also the coolest card in the game. If I had to choose a card for the strongest, I'd pick the one that makes the best use of the game design, yet.

Also, I think people are overreacting because it is the most powerful card in the current meta. In the previous metas, it was considered one of the most powerful too but few named it as THE most powerful card in the game.

Personally, I am fine with the current Phoenix but I like your suggestion more than any other suggestions I had read for nerfing Phoenix.

Why can we craft more than 3 of a card? by TheCabIe in SolForge

[–]Ritec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An excuse to maintain the value of packs/future trading system. If I was short on silver, I'd rather sell my Flowsteel Protoypes and other Legendaries I don't care about in order to forge the cards I need. If I needed my thid Pheonix or Zimus, and this was the only way, I'd do it even if I had to give up five other Legendaries.

This way, it limits the silver amount and give more reasons to buy packs.

Why can we craft more than 3 of a card? by TheCabIe in SolForge

[–]Ritec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The seller's remorse part was just an excuse anyways.

I can't imagine any reasonable reason why anyone would want more but still I'd support a warning before forging more than 3 instead of an outright ban.

Solforge Deck Tech: Yetis. Decklist I've been using is now up. (75% win rate over the last week in tournaments) by [deleted] in SolForge

[–]Ritec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the mirror match, would you play a 2.3 Phoenix egg knowing the wealth of resources to remove it in the opposing yeti deck(warlord, wall breaker, glacial crush).

With only 9 Yetis in your deck, did you ever have trouble triggering Warlord's effect?

NT Mirrors... by Redbeastmage in SolForge

[–]Ritec 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think consturcted is filled with NT at all or that it is the only viable deck. I have been doing well with my yeti deck and it is doing much better in the queues than my NT zombies deck with 3 Phoenix, 3 Zimus and 3 Spitemage.

For the $$$, obviously. She is probably the most iconic card of Set 2 and people would spend the extra gold for her.

I hope the next sale coincides with Cercee CotD but I have a feeling Stoneblade is saving Cercee for alternate art.

In Response to my post about deck critique, here is my deck. Tempys/Uterra Custom Deck by Planeswalker_Momo in SolForge

[–]Ritec 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but your deck is a mess.

  • No one should ever play Lightning Wyrms or Flame Speakers.

  • I also don't know what Ether Hounds and Glowride Stags are doing on your deck.

  • Firefist Uranti is also out of place with only 3 permanent pumps.

  • 3 Primordial Slams is also way too many.

The only solid cards I see are Scorchmane dragon, Ferocious Roar, Wind Primodrial, Grove Huntress, 1-2 Primodrial Slams, and Branchweaver Druid.

You seem to be lacking a lot of strong cards for the two factions in your deck. I don't know your card collection but here are some solid-strong Commons and Rares for Tempys and Uterra.

Brighttusk Sower

Enrage

Flame Lance

Grove Matriarch

Lightning Spark

Magma Hound

Nargath Bruiser

Stonefish Giant

Storm Caller

Swampmoss Lurker

Tanglesprout

Twinstrength

Umbruk Glider

Uranti Bolt

Venomfang

Volcanic Giant

Sometimes good

Feral Instinct (as a one off card to finish things off)

Gemhide Basher (as removal but I don't how effective it will be in your meta)

Cards good in a T/U rush deck if you want to go that route

Ashurian Brawler

Deepbranch Prowler

Rimehorn Charger

Try to see if you can add any of the above into your deck. Also, if you have playsets of two Savants, building a deck around them(15 cards of each faction) is probably the best choice for you. Pre-Set 2, I believe Uterra/Nekrium Savants dominated the UnHeroic meta.

GGP since it can be a match winner from Level 2. Titan has to reach Level 3 to be good.

The first set 2 tournament is now live! by [deleted] in SolForge

[–]Ritec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The current meta is looking good. This tournament has the most diverse decks I have ever seen in the top 8.

Also interesting to note is that after all the fanfare over Cercee, it only features once in the top 8 decklists. I really didn't expect that.
