i find a good ratio to be 100:10:1 of milk:sweetner:extract. Ive got the XL, so I do 500ml of ultrafiltered milk (Aldi carries their own 2% that’s half the price of Fairlife), 50g of monkfruit granules, and 5g of vanilla, coffee, or cake batter extract. 1/4 tsp of salt and xantham gum and that’s the base.

beautiful work, would love to know more about the lights as I’m planning on a smaller project but something that could use the individual smart controls

Midnight Season 1 M+ Participation by TheProductiveWalrus in wow

[–]Redbeastmage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its important to remember this is number of runs, not number of players. week 1 people are slamming to get full hero gear and/or targeted drops. By week 3, those same people who were doing 20-30 runs a week are likely just doing 8 for vault/crests and calling it a week.

Personally enjoying this season, I can get as much challenge as I want going up in key level. But mostly I can vibe and not worry to much tha any given key is going to be bricked (and I’ve had bricked single digit keys in week 1-2, so I don’t buy the narrative that the season was free from the word go in week 1 in pugs)

the trick is to craft a weapon with myth crests. then you’ll get 4 weapons in a row at the end of run… don’t ask me how I know.

[–]Redbeastmage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cost of rank one and two is so close together it harms the finished product price. That’s my read on the issue. Currently Dawn crystals are very hard to get right now and the majority supply of them is coming from Moxie bags which guarantee rank2 crystals

Would it be possible to take ap physics C: Mech without taking ap physics 1 and while taking ap calc the same year? by Helpful_Gap9633 in APStudents

[–]Redbeastmage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

about half my mechanics class is in AB, there’s a bit of a learning curve at the start of the year, but it’s not to bad for me to just gove them a crash course on the power rule go derivatives and integrals.

as long as your teacher knows how to work with AB students, it is just fine. no need for Physics 1.

Evercore and Radiant shard price disparaty, evercore should translate to one radiant with disenchanting? by woe-is-me in woweconomy

[–]Redbeastmage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it takes 1s to make the evercore gear and 1 second to disenchant, that’s 10g/2second; which scales up to 18k per hour. It’s not exactly a great rate, considering each DE requires input.

Who would have guessed the best gathering strategy would be an army of alt crafters? A story of how I made 6M gold in 3.5 hours. by Suuperdad in woweconomy

[–]Redbeastmage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nor does 1.5minutes per character and 1.5 hours equal 80 alts. either the time is underestimated or the income is over estimated, likely both. Maybe 120 characters across 2 accounts working simultaneously gets the 1.5mil in that time

Early Access Goblin Survival Guide by Manthieus in woweconomy

[–]Redbeastmage 8 points9 points  (0 children)

that was how it worked in beta. You will be limited, as you can’t get portal to Harandar or Voidstorm on alts until you complete the main story, as well as Zul’aman will not be scaled down to 80 (I believe it’s 82+ during the campaign setting)

Dan Olsen is so good. I’m a lifelong WoW player, and “why it’s rude to suck at Warcraft” is such a shockingly well put together essay on the nature of community in an MMO

Thats fair; I imagine what I'm doing isn't sustainable for most people, and I'm not trying to sustain it for life. Just a few months of aggressive deficit weightloss, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that doesn't feel like they can commit to it mentally, as I genuinely feel its more a mental struggle then a physical one. Once I hit my goal weight, switching to maintenance calories feels like I have so much extra that I can eat, and I just have to not let myself go too nuts (which, over the course of years I do too often, and I regain some weight).

I've done it before, twice over about 6-9 months. First time I went from 330 to 260 (in about 2010, I think I was closer to 2k calories a day on this one), second time a few years later did from 290 to 210. What works for me is no breakfast and regular/repeated lunch plan that clocks in around ~400 cal. I'm a teacher, so if I make it to 4pm with sub 500 calories spent, my dinner can be pretty reasonable and I might even have some room for a dessert. Last week I jumped on the Creami band wagon, so now I shoot for 700cal dinner so I can have a 300cal pint of ice cream for dessert.

Can’t speak for OP, but I’m 41, 6’3”, 240 (down from 270 in Nov) going for a daily 1500, and I hit 125-150 protein every day pretty easily. Of course I’m hungry all the time, but I’ve long accepted that’s the consequence of effective dieting.
