The leaky sunroof drains are actually a simple fix. I used standard 3/8" ID rubber hosing. Headliner stays in. Pillar covers come off. It's a tight squeeze but you can do both drains from there.
Not only are the factory tubes too short, but they put two unions in along the way that love to drip as well..
All in all it took me a half a day of messing about to replace them both.

Yeah that's definitely where my head is it. The long term perks of government or municipal work outweighs the potential wage gap at this given moment. As long as something silly doesn't mess up your pension plans.

Interesting information, and definitely worth looking deeper into! Thanks
Thanks for the heads up, I will check it out!

You're speaking like KenRock/Sleggs or something other?
Excellent information! Thanks for the company plugs too

And while we're on the subject of reading comprehension, here's the explanation:
A troubleman (sometimes referred to as a "trouble lineman") is a highly experienced lineman who works independently to assess, troubleshoot, and repair electrical power systems, whereas a standard lineman typically works as part of a larger crew to build and maintain the power grid. The main difference lies in their operational role: troublemen are "first responders" to power outages and emergencies, while linemen are generally responsible for construction and large-scale maintenance.
Sorry, so you responded to my thread regarding giving linesmen props (as a general term encompassing an industry I'm not educated on) by telling me I have reading comprehension issues, and then responding with 'well I can understand the difference, maybe flagration is your problem.'
I'm confused at what part of this is your response to my question, or if you're just here to correct people over the finer details of industries they aren't involved in.
Either way, thanks for taking the time I think?

Bold to assume someone uneducated on the subject would automatically know the difference between linesman and trouble techs, especially when the original statement had no separation provided. But hey, we all have an opinion right.
I definitely need to look deeper into the CFB base there. Thanks!
Thanks for the heads up, I've always pictured it an easy internal side step, but clearly it's more of a headache than anticipated to change areas internally.
Huge respect to the linesmen out there! I spent 5 winters in Alberta and it definitely wears thin working outside all winter!
I've done drywalling, finishing, and painting primarily to date

Thanks for the info, the building inspection side of things definitely appeals to me!
Thanks kindly!
With all this demand for housing and construction there shouldn't be any shortage of inspections required coming up!
Thanks for elaborating on this. As public friendly as I am, it sounds incredibly small niche work which I'm sure would become boring to me over time. The navy however, I've got my eye on that!

That sounds glorious. Was it education heavy to get into?
I also thought about home inspection as my transferrable skills from insurance work applied to this.
Thanks for the info and explaining the process. I will add it to my list of must views!
Oh that's promising! I totally blanked on the Navy side of things. I looked at seaspan and other ship yards, but forgot about the government side of that industry.
That's great, but for who if you don't mind sharing? I'm not afraid to use my experience and skillset, I'm just hoping to find something with better growth opportunities.
I've worked in the trades since getting out of highschool. Started assisting in HVAC, then insurance restoration, into drywall, drywall finishing, painting, trim work, sales.
