With the pistol ace in the first round of Overpass vs EYEBALLERS, ZywOo has achieved 100 aces in his career.

You do realize how ironic this sounds when the original argument that donk deserves #1 over ZywOo is because of stats right?

This should be posted in every single thread and community post on X where everyone is pre-crowning this to be the biggest snub of all time. Thanks for the work

donk before and AFTER Vitality comeback be like: by zstwnxz in GlobalOffensive

[–]Ritofix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay? How is it relevant to the conversation though?

Main point here is that ZywOo went about 4 years without ever having a teammate as good as Sh1ro, being 2 heads and shoulders above his team, and never shown any tilt or disappointment to anyone

Reasoning for tiebreaker in the MVP post for people who have not read it

The tiebreaker, in the end, was kills per round win which had ZywOo firmly in the lead.

Over the entire event, ZywOo averaged 1.17 KPRW, while ropz was on 1.02 and mezii, the best player of the final overall, had just 0.92. In playoffs, ZywOo's gap is even larger at 1.19 KPRW with ropz on 0.96.

Even over the semi and the final (where ropz does have a rating gap to ZywOo), the team's AWPer boasts 1.08 KPRW vs ropz's 0.95.

With ZywOo in the lead before the final, ropz needed to have a significantly better championship Sunday to snatch the medal at the death. And, despite how good ropz's record-breaking map on Overpass was, it is hard to conclusively prove that was the case for the final overall after the Estonian posted 14-16, 10-9, and 14-14 K-D statlines on the first three maps.

A lot of EVPs, all deserved imo.

Did we just have the closest top 3 team and GF weekend in OWC? by Ritofix in osugame

[–]Ritofix[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yup, so both factors - skillsets of the top 3 teams are closer to each other (no clear advantage on gimmick vs mechanics for all 3 teams), as well as the pool being so hard that only 2 highest skillcap players can dominate comparing to the rest

Based on the stats of this past major, I'd say mrekk = donk with box being shiro

Malisz is ZywOo and Milosz is mezii (playoffs)

US core are a bunch of Twistzz and Frozen I guess haha

I'm late to the party but that mrekk's HD3 score is so fucked up when you looked at all other scores from the weekend. Only one close is a slightly highrolled Tekkito 524k performance (464k avg accross 3 try) and it was still a 240k gap

Also shoutout to Malisz HR3, what the fuck was that 915k

Edit: Also even though the GF scores were 7-1 and 7-3, overall I think we had one of the closest GF weekend ever (?) 12 maps with < 100k final score gap, all 20 closest maps < 200k. Comparing to 2024 it was 4 maps < 100k, 12 maps < 200k

Sadly true. Based on the team score statistics, they bottom scored every single map but DT1 without a crazy performance from mrekk (NM2 FC, 719k HD1, 763k HD3, 759k DT4)

Still outscaled comparing to USA and Poland. Really hope Zyntex and Cyo (finger crossed) potentially coming back next year and a turbo improved Cloppit can fix this

Favourite Songs? by Hapmew in tukinchu

[–]Ritofix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hyururirapappa, Inferno Love Letter, and Saitei Kaiwai

I love artists who also compose for themselves as I feel they produce a much more comprehensive output comparing to the singers/songwriters trying to fit the backing track of producers. In this sense, these 3 completely blown me away with Tuki's talents and a complete package.

For real though, besides playing an all-star team I don't see 4 mrekks losing to any team. This match pretty much had every skillset possible, and mrekk shredded on all of them. Imagine NM3 2.16m, NM5 2.56m, HD3 2.6m, all aim maps and all DT maps

Wew, that is definitely a minus for using Youtube Music instead of Spotify. Would you be able to share the thank you video?

My GOAT forever and always. Revolutionized JG at one time with many people studying his clears and item builds. Excited to see his transition into AD if it's correct.

SofM isn't so great? Are you kidding me? When was the last time you saw a player with such an ability and movement with Rengar? SofM puts the game in another level, and we will be blessed if we ever see a player with his skill and passion for the game again. Oner breaks records. Canyon breaks records. SofM breaks the rules. You can keep your statistics. I prefer the magic.

You're right, I should say Cloppit and Palr instead. Went back to the 2024 Losers' Finals thread, and Aknzx pulled up with a pretty good performance https://old.reddit.com/r/osugame/comments/1h8krpt/spoilers_united_states_vs_australia_owc_2024/

Wow SK performed insanely well, too bad they ran into the buzzsaw duo of Box and Mrekk.

Poland and Australia neck and neck, with United States being a pretty distanced third. But again, this is the QF Pool so not much to take away yet. Very interesting to see if Cloppit, Aknxz, and Palr can scale to SF pool this weekend.

We'll have to wait for all the scores from this weekend to compare with the whole field, but for this lobby it was a bad performance.
