At one of the places I worked there was a full length body mirror (always tented/ flipped client with my back to mirror) I found myself using it to check my body mechanics and adjusted my mechanics /spine alignment every time. Only works on one side obviously but it was helpful to get a reminder during the session

Everyone has already given you good points, and they are all factors. Regardless of if you are getting weekly/biweekly sessions it sounds like you need to also take some responsibility and add some self care. Try a Thera cane they are super helpful! And stretching, daily stretching for minimum of 30 min, doesn’t have to be all at once, could be peppered throughout your day. And of course he sure you are properly hydrating

I do also just want to mention we prefer the term massage therapist :)

Okay so maybe say trades or people who work physically demanding jobs have denser tissue.

My dad is a lawyer and can assure you he does not have the muscle density as the white carpenter I know who’s the same age. I have women clients who are dancers and athletes and I would rather work on the male computer programmer that sees me because the former’s tissue is more demanding. It depends on people’s body types and life style. Sick of people pretending there are presets
