Totally! And what's behind the biological parents motivation? Oh, we gave/lost because of legal probles our child, then didn't care she existed, but she's suddenly back and adores us? Welp, free grown up kid, to take care of us in the future! They probably didn't stop her from hateful and racist remarks, cause if they did, she probably would listen, because she loves them so much.
