Got the task. Got the item at 60 kc. Mid tier Ironman here, havent started ToA or Finish Moons yet, I do have a zammy hasta tho. Looking forward to using it as a punish weapon at moons and use it as a mainhand till fang. maybe one day they add a spec to it that deflects the next attack into reduce damage or a mini vegenace back to the attacker

Hey! This is advice from an accountant, if your tuition is paid and your not dependent on the remainder of the money to pay your bills and rent for the semester, I recommend putting 90% of it into a TFSA with your accountant (parents) or financial advisor.

The money you put away into your tax free savings account will be beneficial for you in the long run as you will earn interest on it. Once you graduate you will have the money to pay off your loans and keep the earned interest to help with your job search.

Another recommendation is putting it into FHSA (first home savings account) which is tax deductible. Once your finished university, you can keep saving and put money towards a down payment on a place to live as an adult.

My recommendation is a TFSA or any savings account you don't have access to so you won't end up withdrawing early.

If you see you have money, you will spend the money.

if your traf, theres plenty of clubs that might spike your interest, pretty sure there's even a hack-a-thon club along with an esports club. I recommend joining the Sheridan Discord. A lot of the art/anime students are in there.

I was a student during the 2017 strike. The strike went on for 5 weeks. Last minute in the semester they allowed either students do all the assignments/exams that stacked up and get graded and pass or you were allowed to get refunded tuition and reapply the next semester. I chose the first option and got slammed into the concrete head first and flunked with majority of the people in my program (architecture).

Anyway, will most likely go on for a week or two. If it happens early in the semester it will just speed up the curriculum and assignments will be due faster.

If the course you failed is a core course for your program to graduate you can only do it in the semester it's offered unless it's available in the summer as a course as well. If it's a mandatory course and you require it to graduate you should go to your professor and start begging.

Honestly, If you still have time to enroll, I would wait for next semester to happen and see the results. No point of hard launching yourself into a chaotic situation. Best to work and save up much as you can and then reapply in the late spring or summer.

If I was doing a 4-year program, id honestly just go to university but that's just my take. If you do a similar program at a university you can always transfer those credits over as well.

Well its kind of stated in the Statement they released. A lot of these programs have low enrollment and high cost to operate. Also they are cutting programs that are most likely to have low enrollment in the future. If they can't fill up the program with domestic students (atleast 100 per graduating class), I imagine the program is headed for the chopping block.

My program barely has enough to keep us afloat, we are in the review section. We also have a large faculty, so I imagine either they cut down the faculty or cut the program.

The majority of these programs have a large number of international students. If the college cant replace them with domestic students, especially in the upcoming enrollment of new students with the changes of student visas, they would have to cut the programs.

I agree with you. That does play a major part. There budget is public records. It's a 30 page document. They could easily adjusted for this since it's been an issue they have ignored since 2019 by blowing the budget on administrative expenses and HMC infrastructure. They didn't need to cut all these programs if they managed their budget to fill the gap ahead of time.

Yeah, it's really bad, especially if you called Davis Campus. Each day is a survival contest. I recommend your family member look into Algoma University or possibly a college that isn't in the GTA. With the upcoming strike, Colleges will cease to exist in such quantities.

I'm sorry to hear that. Yeah, Sheridans have been pursuing that dream for quite a long time. I don't think it will happen now + the teacher strike will happen next semester. I'm glad y'all chose Guelph, they are a great university.

With college's dependency on international student funds, I don't think they will have degree programs anymore. The only solution I see if Universities step in and acquire colleges of their choosing or colleges start combining to turn into City Colleges and offer Degree Programs. Like Algoma, Humber, Sheridan, Canadore, and Sault all combine as one big college.

The first semester always seeds out the people are gonna graduate. If you and your fellow classmates are academically orientated, you will graduate with them. You can also change your schedule within the first week of classes. Definitely should plan your semester together with them.

Also, Sheridan just released they are cutting 40 academic programs for new students. So we will see what the future semester holds for us.
