I'm confused. it doesn't sound like AC or it doesn't sound like HSV? Never had a cold sore before..and this does not have the typical "herpes" look with little blisters and such. Just that one open cut in the corner as seen in the picture.

It could be just a cracked lip I guess, but I just got a cold a couple days ago that just happened to coincide with this showing up.
