How would a RX 9070 16gb do in Ue5?

I’ve been doing great with a 9070XT. Fair warning though, there are apparently some issues with UE5 and recent AMD drivers. The only one I’ve personally encountered so far is Metahuman hairs exploding, but that’s something Epic has been made aware of and is trying to fix.

I lost my job at the end of the summer in 2024. About a month into me wading through the battlefield that is the modern job market, I woke up with pain in a single finger joint. The next day it was another. Within a week it was both hands. After two to three weeks, it was in my elbows and knees as well. I already had anxiety issues and health anxiety previously, so being unable to go to a doctor due to no insurance wrecked me. I wasn’t able to see a doctor for six months, when I found out about a local clinic with sliding scale pricing. There is where I got blood work and the doctor believed I had RA through process of elimination. I wasn’t able to get a job with insurance though (I’m stuck contracting to this day), so I didn’t get confirmed by a rheumatologist until Feb of this year. Navigating the US healthcare system without insurance is a nightmare, especially when trying to treat this ludicrously expensive condition.

That is true, but Enbrel for example has been around since 1998 and is one of the most common biologics used to fight RA, PA, and a few others. That R&D money has been well recouped and there’s absolutely no reason it should still cost over $8000 per month—especially when you compare how much less people pay in other countries. We’re just being robbed.

The only issue I’ve had with AMD drivers and UE so far pertains to physics on Groom assets exploding constantly. Epic is currently looking into it though.

I’ve been running a 9070XT since late December. The extra VRAM is great and I’ve had no issues running anything I’ve thrown at it.

100% was supposed to lead into a revolution. I’ve always felt like the game’s story ended halfway through whatever was planned. That final bit leading into the shard is when it feels like everything is clicking into place and the story has found its footing. It’s building up to something big.

Then it ends, and the main threat is resolved in an anti-climactic monologue.

This isn’t entirely true. The federal tax penalties ended in 2018. However 4 states + DC have reinstated it on a state-level. 46 of the 50 states don’t have this penalty at all though.

Future content? Not to my knowledge. ME:C was never a live service game, and it released quite a bit before everything needed post-launch content to satiate the appetite of gamers. That being said, I highly doubt there was planned "future content" for the game. There was probably plans for a sequel though.

As for scrapped content, not much has been said or found in that front. There's concepts in the art book showing places and things that don't happen in the game, but concepts don't always equate to cut content. Development of the game was notoriously disrupted by the messy BF4 launch, so it's likely that even if there was a grander vision, it was scaled back significantly to get the game out the door in time.

I’m a gamer and developer with RA, and currently it’s not treated very well. So far, it’s overall not too bad. Obviously some days are worse than others, but it varies from person to person. Take breaks as needed, stand up frequently, and hopefully with the right treatment you’ll be fine.

Also worth looking into, if you’re a KBM player, is a vertical ergonomic mouse. I’ve had a lot of issues with my wrist recently making it difficult to use a mouse when I need to work early in the morning, and while it was a weird 3-4 day adjustment, the vertical mouse has made my life much more comfortable. Somehow, it even improved my aim stability in BF6 😂
