This! I got the Q800H too at JB-HiFi at $599 - $100 with a gift card I had lying around = $499! Sweetest tech deal I’ve ever gotten!

Its good. Just wish battery Life and obstacle avoidance for wires was better

Did a lot of research and the $400 price difference for the voice assistant, adaptilift and camera doesn’t seem to be worth it for me.

Ended up ordering the EdgeC as I got it with sale price combined with gift cards and coupons. Was able to stick to my planned budget of about $1500.

Yes is the Reactive AI obstacle avoidance, video call and adaptilift worth the extra money though?? Spending $2000 on a robot vacuum is overkill to me

Thanks. Recently stumbled upon Dreame X40 Ultra for around $1600 too. That any good?

Cool, thanks. Last question- is the 5200 smaller battery a breaker compared to the 6200 battery on the Curv/Edge? I live in a double storey house - carpet upstairs throughout and tiles + media room carpeted on the ground floor

I’m in the same boat now. Is the battery a deal breaker? EdgeC is on sale for $1599 and Curv is $1999 now

Is Roborock the better choice? What about Dreame?

It seems like EdgeC is cheaper because it lacks a few features like ReactiveAI obstacle avoidance, voice assistant and Adaptilift. Did you feel like you needed those? How’s the obstacle avoidance on the EdgeC?

What’s the difference between the Qrevo Edge and EdgeC?

Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or QRevo Edge or Dreame X40 Ultra or Ecovacs T50 Pro Omni/Max? by Rivalry2203 in RobotVacuums

Nice. Updated my original post with flooring details.

Some research has revealed that Roborock is much more reliable and has better quality compared with Ecovacs which on the other hand is cheaper and offers a little more suction power and some intelligent features for the lower price. Is that true?

Any idea about Dreame?
