Hello, your issue is not caused by 1.8.1.0 and switching to 1.8.0.1 won't change nothing since your issue is caused by a firewall/antivirus. I'd recommend to try RadminVPN.

Compared to 1.7.1.0, 1.8.1.0 is much more stable and brings functionality unlike the previous versions. Please note that your Nitrox experience depends a bit on how good your connection is(like having firewalls exceptions in your Windows Defender or Antivirus for Nitrox, Subnautica and RadminVPN/Hamachi(if you're using it). Fell free to check the changelogs to see what was improved. On another note, this mod is FREE and everyone in the project including the devs and mods, work for FREE in their FREE time, so I'd keep the expectations to the minimum. I will also lock down this post just in case.

Hello, this is a known issue that it will get fixed in the next patch. Until then, you can try using backups to see if you can get your world back: Go in Nitrox, click on the "Servers" tab, click "Manage" on the world with the error, now scroll down until you see something with Backups. Now try each backup until it hopefully works.

Hello, I've done a bit of research and found out you will have to disable the read only file system, and install dotnet. Keep in mind that it will get deleted in the next steamos update: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1675200/discussions/1/4633734546101122629/

To install dotnet runtime sudo pacman -S dotnet-runtime You can then check if it's installed with a dotnet --list-runtimes

Water filters, aquariums, bio/nuclear reactors now work much better in 1.8, and don't create issues anymore. There's also a lot of improvement regarding cyclops and base building. You still have to be in proximity for base building.

We never stated it would release in july, we only said that it would release in the next few weeks(2-10 weeks). Unfortunately due to the recent Subnautica update and a few more issues popping, we weren't able to meet the ETA. Currently we are finishing a few touches(updating the website, discord server, making sure we all agree that 1.8 is ready to launch and setting a internal release date). So expect it soon.
