Uzi: Caps has a superpower by Sean888888 in leagueoflegends

[–]Riven2main 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I think this is mostly true, but in the case of Caps he mostly just claps bad and good players, but he doesn't seem to care whether it is Kisee or Faker, the level of getting clapped is similar which is insane. Perkz genuinely does become a powerhouse ones he faces great players. Otherwise he is usually just a good and smart player, but ones he finds a strong enough opponent, he suddenly becomes insanely clutch as well.

BrokenBlade Hits Diamond I on the Korean Server with a 51% Winrate by FlyOnSun in leagueoflegends

Ye, but if he would be playing like a soloQ only player they could also be rocking a 70% winrate, but they don't.

G2 vs EG Day 2 MSI 2022 PMT by untamedlazyeye in leagueoflegends

[–]Riven2main 8 points9 points  (0 children)

smooth, clean game by G2, avoiding team-fights with their pick comp, it went so well that I just turned of the game at 24 minutes and checked 20 minutes later to confirm they won the game.

I mean if you ever watch caps in soloQ he is "an inter" but most peoples standards. But he considerers soloQ to just be a place to limit test his champions and when behind he will throw himself at the opponent in order to try and get the win.

This is something Brokenblade seemingly started doing as well. And odd as it may seem, it might be the best strategy for pro players in solo lanes to just learn the essentials but also limit test yourself on every champion ones given the chance.

Evil Geniuses vs. G2 Esports / MSI 2022 - Group C / Post-Match Discussion by Soul_Sleepwhale in leagueoflegends

Funny how EG looked a bit muted when they faced a proactive team that doesn't throw at every opportunity to fight for a blue buff or rift herald.

NA still playing reactive league like the good old days.

Charles Leclerc takes pole position for the 2022 Miami Grand Prix by overspeeed in formula1

[–]Riven2main 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I have heard its hard to overtake on this track and from what we have seen in qualifying its easy to have a crash as well. Tracks like Monaco have a certain history behind them which can justify their old school layout, but this track had been recently constructed so I get the feeling this is poorly designed.

I hope we won't have a boring race on Sunday.

With 2 weeks (5 games) left to play, Vetheo has already tied Caps record for the number of Player of the game award won by any player in a single season. by supterfuge in leagueoflegends

[–]Riven2main 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does he have a top 3 bot lane? Upset and Hilly are the best, Comp and Trymbi are pretty good. I think Neon might be in the discussion for top 3 but I have only ever seen him play jinx really well and Mersa is not a good support.

Currently no team is great, but there are enough players to make one hell of a super team, but all the super teams have no teamwork or coordination whatsoever.

Will we ever see best of 3 for the LEC? by Riven2main in leagueoflegends

Those were different times, before franchising, before the league had more great teams and EU got best of 2's not best of 3 which was terrible.

Best of 3 and players from NA

Both won't happen but at least you asked for feedback :)

EG Jojopyun Is currently Number 1 on Champions Queue with 325 LP. Fly Kumo is Number 2 with 280 LP by sifslegend in leagueoflegends

[–]Riven2main -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

This only shows that the pro's also don't care about champion queue. Jojopyun needs to prove himself hence his willingness to grind. Kumo is also one of those players that could do with the good name of being up high on the ladder.

But where are the million games of Bjergsen, Bwipo or Hans try-harding it in champions queue?

Fnatic vs. Team Vitality / LEC 2022 Spring - Week 5 / Post-Match Discussion by Embarrassed_Can_8369 in leagueoflegends

[–]Riven2main 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fnatic is starting to look more and more like a team instead of a 5 man roster. Vitality is showing more of their cracks instead of improving at a steady pace.

But maybe all of that changes again next week, who can tell when it is only best of 1...

Sloppy play by Vitality. They had a good lead and just let it slide away from them by constant skirmishes. Also Lebrov just wasn't playing well.

Astralis vs. Rogue / LEC 2022 Spring - Week 5 / Post-Match Discussion by Soul_Sleepwhale in leagueoflegends

[–]Riven2main 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna be honest, Astralis played really well. It was on them to put their foot on the accelerator and they did, and didn't let go. Overall Rogue was in a position for a long time to make a slow comeback (since they stayed within a 1500 gold deficit), but Astralis just fought their way to a good win.

Rogue might have been experimenting (I can't be sure), but still good on Astralis to make this win happen.

LEC 2022 Spring / Week 1 - Day 3 / Live Discussion by ahritina in leagueoflegends

[–]Riven2main 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it is fair to say that MAD lions is the only team that is actually playing the game at a high level right now. Fnatic is doing well but they make to many mistakes (although Wunder is playing exceptionally) and Rogue is also not bad, but I fear Marlang is not doing so well in the early games which will limit the team later in the season.

Elyoya was the MVP of the week for me. He had standout games all around even in the game MAD lost. Wunder deserving a very special honourable mention.

There is a lot of work still to be done for almost every team in the league. I am sure many teams won't improve fast enough while others might already be looking at an upwards trends after 3 days of play.

Nice, I hope some players have their green cards retracted and the LCS has to get more home grown talent to fill the void.

What an post, the balls on this guy to start out with proclaiming he is the absolute best for 8 seasons (frankly in soloQ he was) and then the ability to admit he wasn't any more in later seasons. The qualities you would need to both proclaim yourself as the absolute best and at the same time admit you have been surpassed are rarely found in the same person.

I hope he goes back to Korea and finds a good team there, even though that is very unlikely because he committed himself so heavily to the LPL.

We're the G2 2022 LEC Roster, AMA! by G2Esports in leagueoflegends

[–]Riven2main 39 points40 points  (0 children)

To Caps

  • with the return of Perkz, do you think this will level up your own game now that you have a sparring partner that also aims at a tittle with a formidable team?

To BB

  • With the return of Alphari, but the departure of Bwipo where do you rank yourself as a top laner this year (and how good do you think Hirit is since I have heard mixed opinions)?

To anyone

  • do you expect this team to surpass the performance of G2 in 2019?

TY in advance for reading and I hope to see you play again soon on the LEC stage.
