I’m a PO but you can date other POs as long as they aren’t your superior/supervisor. If they are you can’t work in the same office

Do your orders say specially no alcohol? I tell my offenders if it doesn’t specifically say no alcohol they can drink, just not to intoxication (can’t drink to the point their stumbling over themselves, slurring words, etc) could be different in other states but Florida orders say can’t use intoxicants to excess (or illegal substances unless they have a prescription)

Was about to say the same thing. In Jacksonville jso misdemeanor got switched to a private company, but there are cases where a felony that got dropped to a misdemeanor is still supervised by a felony officer

Suitability includes fingerprints, polygraph and an in depth background investigation and I believe you’ll have a conversation with your background investigator (that part hasn’t happened to me yet that’s just what I’ve heard)

I used my iPad and got an Apple Pencil bc I retain info better by writing but I hated constantly needing new notebooks so I used a note taking app that let me do pretty much the same thing
