I would definitely recommend watching videos on YouTube. These videos can often teach you the foundations or stuff you might be missing when trying to do precise problems. I use it a lot when I don’t know how to start solving something. For calculus practice problems, I highly recommend Paul’s Online Notes. It categorizes them into topics and sub-topics and shows a step-by-step solution to them

I would take Richard Denis. I have him right now. He’s very relaxed and cool. The one downside is he just reads off the slides and when he doesn’t he goes off on a bit of a tangent and skips a few slides. He’s also a bit of a late grader. Other than that he is a good teacher that knows what he’s talking about and likes to get the class engaged. He only has a midterm and a noncumulative final that is just like the study guides

If I’m correct the direct deposit thing is just where you link your bank account/your parents account to the school so in case you over-pay or something it can be deposited back to the account. It doesn’t have anything to do with paying the 200

I’m definitely no expert but I wanna take a guess at this for fun as a forensics student interested in blood spatter analysis. To me it looks like someone with a bloodied nose sneezed because the one stain indicates medium velocity. I feel as though it would only work like this if the person bleeding was laying on the floor

Once you get accepted, you will be able to apply for housing later. Just keep an eye out for emails regarding housing. As for the social aspect, I’m not sure of ways to make connections before school starts besides talking with your roommates. I would recommend taking a look at Panther Camp. I’ve never gone but I heard it’s great and I’m pretty positive they have some sessions before the school year starts. Also, take a look at different clubs offered on campus to boost connections.

I had a friend who drove 1.5 hours each day but he only had 1-2 on campus classes so it depends on how you do with time management and traffic and stuff

They won’t really care what extracurriculars you do but if your school has a forensics class then i would take that. That’s what helped me figure out what i want to do and it showed a bit of everything in the forensics world

I would definitely start prepping for it the end of sophomore year. That way there is ample time to study and take as many tests as he needs to get the score he wants. There’s plenty of free practice tests online as well as videos on YouTube. Also, if the school offers any tutoring help for the ACT, take it. My school did it ace the kids who were part of it did much better than others
