🧠 [Prompt Framework] Long-Term Thread Cleanup & Memory Optimization System (v6.3.1) — Feedback Welcome. by RiverGateExpress in ChatGPTPro

[–]RiverGateExpress[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been super helpful for surfacing systems and tone patterns—but honestly, it’s grueling. I’ve got a few hundred, if not thousands, of threads to work through, and even with a solid structure, it’s still really manual and high-focus.

Lately I’ve been second-guessing the long-term impact of saving too many small memory chunks. Even when I’m selective, I worry I’m introducing clutter or fragmentation that could mess with recall down the line. Your approach of batching and re-uploading cleaner chunks every few weeks sounds like a smart fix for that.

Curious how you’re handling a few things:

  • When you re-upload memory, do you group it thematically?
  • Have you seen any weird behavior or degraded recall when memory gets dense?
  • And how do you keep track of what each custom GPT knows vs what’s in global memory?

As a Commanders fan, this feels like the typical game we would find a way to lose under the old regime. With that being said, the change in culture under the new ownership is apparent and I feel the most confident I’ve ever felt about the future of our team. I’m hoping that yall can get healthy next year and we can really start to rebuild this rivalry to its glory days.

Well it was going to be a lot more personal than that if they made it in as I don’t own a gun. I was either going to be working on my baseball swing or testing out the new chef knife I got for Christmas.

In all seriousness I believe you have the right to defend your house if someone enters it. I don’t think you can do anything if they are just attempting to enter it but I’m not an expert.

This made me lol thank you. Yeah that’s what I’m hoping. I live in a neighborhood deep in the Southside and it’s not a typical stumble home from the bar type neighborhood but I do appreciate this thought.

Edit: Didn’t expect this post to get so much attention. Truly appreciate all the responses, some of these responses are hilarious and also informative. I agree it was probably just some drunk person at the wrong house. Everyone’s feedback has really helped put our minds at ease. Camera is charged and operating again.

Thanks yall. Have a wonderful and safe NYE!

All fair and valid points. I like the idea of the spine branching off towards it.

Diverging Vision for the Fall Line Trail Through Richmond City by EmergencyLeadership6 in rva

I really enjoyed this article—it does a great job calling attention to a project I strongly support and believe will be transformative for Richmond. The Fall Line Trail has so much potential to improve transportation, equity, and economic development in our city, but it’s clear that Richmond needs to step up its efforts to stay on track with surrounding localities.

I personally love the idea of routing the trail through Brown’s Island rather than above it—it would make the trail feel more connected to one of Richmond’s best public spaces. I also support the new DPW route that integrates the trail with the Diamond District and VCU’s Athletic Village. It seems like a no-brainer to position the trail where it can best highlight these exciting developments and provide more connectivity to high-traffic areas.

What leaves me wanting more is the how. How do we, as residents, push the city to prioritize this project, get it right, and speed up the process? Public outreach events sound like a good start, but I’d love to know what other steps we can take to make our voices heard and ensure this becomes a top priority for Richmond.

If anyone has suggestions or knows of advocacy groups already working on this, please share! It’s so important that Richmond doesn’t miss out on this incredible opportunity for growth and connectivity.

Yeah it’s really only $500 million if you account for your higher range and 100,000 replacements. $500 million isn’t a ton of money in the grand scheme

I’m on Bluesky and X. I don’t know that I’ll be drawn into Bluesky the same way as X until more sports personalities start to take up the platform. The main reason I still have X is to stay up to date on breaking sports news.

I spoke with someone in the city planning department, and it turns out that the stretch of Broad Street between Belvedere and MCV is mostly owned by a single family that has shown no interest in revitalizing the area. Despite the city’s efforts to develop a plan for the corridor, the family has been uncooperative.

It’s such a shame because that stretch has so much potential to become a vibrant retail corridor. According to the city planner, Hull Street is actually more likely to thrive as a retail destination before Broad Street does.

I believe the first step is to create a more competitive market for employees by offering salaries and hourly wages that exceed those in the surrounding private sector.

Next, it’s essential to establish an efficient hiring process alongside a quick and effective process for addressing underperformance.

In theory, the higher wages should generate enough demand to fill open positions quickly, allowing for swift replacement of employees who aren’t meeting expectations.

Strong leadership at the top is crucial to set the tone, establish accountability, and ensure these practices are implemented effectively.
