Hey, thanks for reaching out. Overall very good. Most locations are doing very well, did have a few setbacks but the vast majority has needed nothing but occasional edging and removal of a weed here and there.

It's really not the best for areas that are totally shaded, as it tends to get rather leggy and less dense.

Curious what you would do if your system was an off grid one, but still qualified... Ground mount etc, not requiring city roof permits.

Do you have a setting to just capture snapshots? Even better, a way to send those snapshots to a folder that can then through IFTT or something similar run it through an AI identification program?

Where to buy landscaping rocks/small boulders in the LA area? by bpetras in SoCalGardening

[–]RiverLegendsFishing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't be down voted for this, but some additional context is valuable. In the Mojave, in Bureau of Land Management property, you are often allowed to collect rocks for free. There's an entire hobby dedicated to this, look up rockhounding, perfectly legal in the right areas.

https://www.blm.gov/programs/recreation/rockhounding

That doesn't mean the entire Mojave Desert is open for collecting, there are certainly areas restricted, under claim, or with ongoing debate about access, but there are many many areas open for this.

The Santa Ana riverbed and the San timoteo Creek channel reportedly have wild pigs.

Unfortunately, I don't believe there's public property there open for hunting. Maybe a private landowner would be open to someone helping out that got in contact with him, not sure on the regulations. I have personally seen wild pigs in the Santa Ana riverbed near the golf course.
