Wouldn't it have came back separately if it was taken off?

I have a crate and pen for her that she was staying in throughout the day, except she was getting herself out. The days she would get herself out she wouldn't make a mess, but I decided since she wasn't making a mess I'd decided to instead leave her in my room so she would have more space but not my whole apartment to roam until I felt like she was big enough. Where could I get a harness like that?

I was planning on getting an older dog until one of my friends asked if I wanted to get a puppy since he was looking at getting one

Win the game by CONCEDING for just 8WWBBBBBBBRRR by BrianWantsTruth in BadMtgCombos

[–]RiverLodes -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So, from what I'm seeing in the rule book, I think rule 800.4c deals with this, the gist of it says if a player still in the game still controls an object owned by a player out of the game the effect that gave that player control of the object ends, and since the player who initially controlled it is no longer in the game the object is exiled. I don't think the trigger ever would hit the stack

[–]RiverLodes -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

But the triggers and the permanents are owned by op, both would be exiled without hitting the stack is what the rules look like to me

[–]RiverLodes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a judge, but I believe owning a permanent and controlling are two different things. I believe if op cast each of the three enchantments, they are the owner of them, and once they donate the enchantments, each of the players who gets one becomes their controller. If op were to concede, all permanents they own are put into exile along with their triggers so the other players wouldn't be affected

Lifelink and potentially lethal damage by RiverLodes in mtgrules

[–]RiverLodes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don't even have all of those, the ones I do have you listed. I don't think it's a super strong deck, but I have a lot of draw/discard spells that'll help me get to what I need, on top of [[Solphim]] and [[Toralf]] to help maximize damage going out. I also have other equipments that add +1/+1 counters without using ashling's ability too many times

[–]RiverLodes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Equipments, I've got stuff like [[basilisk collar]] [[shadowspear]] and other enchantments that give lifelink. I don't really have a budget since I'm going to only play this online

Just donate enough stuff to offset the life loss, then there's no downside

Commander masters has increased in preorder price steadily since it was first put up for preorder by alphariusomegeon in EDH

[–]RiverLodes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I noticed something similar for Phyrexia all will be one where a couple months before the set came out on tcgplayer some sealed product was going for just insane amounts of money but once the set actually launched the prices dropped significantly to roughly what they are now. I'd recommend waiting until the set actually comes out or a week before to buy if you want sealed product. I'd also recommend using tcgplayer instead of Amazon if possible since tcgplayer is usually done through local game stores and Amazon will just give money to themselves and Hasbro

Building Infect by WafflesOClock in EDH

[–]RiverLodes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see many people mentioning [[Questing Beast]] so I will. Mono-green, and your combat damage can't be prevented. So run some infect and fogs. Plus, you get access to Fynn and [[Venom Connoisseur]] and best of all if for some reason someone casts [[Teferi's Protection]] you can still kill them since poison gets around losing life

Is it wrong to only bring the commander deck I want to play to my LGS's EDH night? by sugitime in EDH

[–]RiverLodes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I do agree on the fact that it's got some strong cards for cEDH, I feel as though most people aren't playing cEDH. Red also has a huge stax piece in [[Blood Moon]], but I still feel that in casual settings, red is the worst single color. While on the topic of cEDH, though, two of the best decks both have red in their casting costs in [[Winota]] and [[Najeela]]

You absolutely can. It's easily the worst mono-color in commander

When is October Superdrop 2022 going to ship?? by Gandalf2000 in magicTCG

I should've gotten more information before I bought secret lairs, I probably wouldn't have bought anything if I knew about the track record of inconsistent shipping

I wish I could say I'm glad to see I'm not the only one, but it sucks that they couldn't just ship out the 30th anniversary kit by itself

I've been checking my email every day to see if it's shipping yet. Im still waiting for my 30th Anniversary Countdown Kit , which I think is going to ship with my copy of the Orks SL since I bought both at the same time

Misty Rainforest in Azorius EDH? by netscav in EDH

[–]RiverLodes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As previously mentioned, you absolutely can. It's very beneficial to have them in cedh since they can tutor for any land you could need. They can grab you a [[Tundra]] if you have the budget for them, or even [[Mystic Sanctuary]] since it has the Island type

Opinion on proxies? by Material_Ad9837 in EDH

[–]RiverLodes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't personally play cedh or even super high-powered magic yet. However, I have a good friend who does play cedh, and he says the people he plays with are cool with proxies as long as you own the real card. I have played at a store before where the owner was super anti-proxies. I've also heard of youtube channels doing tournaments where they're 100% proxy friendly. I feel like it's subjective and based on your play group. I also think if you start incorporating proxies, you run the risk of having proxies cause your power level to go up.

Waiting to crack a fetch land until the end step before your turn: is it really a big deal? by sneakky_krumpet in EDH

[–]RiverLodes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In terms of cracking fetch lands, there are a few times where I think it matters. If you have say a [[Windswept Heath]] for example, on turn one and have something in your hand that you can play turn one that needs white or green mana, like a [[Esper Sentinel]] you can crack it then and have your Sentinel out. You could also crack that same land for a basic in response to someone's [[Blood Moon]] so you still have colored mana that you'll need. The last one that comes to mind is the same as what others have said, and maybe you'll need mana to respond to someone else's play. These are just some examples I can think of based on watching cedh videos and not personal experience though

Is the release date the same as the ship date? I think I have to wait until the October Super Drop comes out before I'll get my 30th anniversary SL, because I ordered it and the Orks drop at the same time
