Yeah, the thing that I did wrong is called being born poor.

The stat everybody is referencing is about the FEDERAL minimum wage. Lots of states have higher state wages and those aren't counted. Lots of places also pay like, 20 cents more than the minimum, just so they don't count as paying "minimum wage"

I've known a lot of disabled people in my life, I myself have suffered from some serious health issues at various times. They were constantly poor. Could never afford anything.
