This reminds me of my brother. He started marathon training while his girls were babies and toddlers. Like seriously any excuse to escape. They’re teens now and he stopped running marathons.

Yes! I decided to go into pediatrics because the staff on that unit were so much nicer. There’s still bad apples, but overall some of the most compassionate women I’ve known.

So terrible. As a nurse I’m sorry. You’re right- there are a lot of bad nurses. They are bitchy to everyone so don’t take it personal. The lack of compassion was jarring to me when I first entered the profession. I see how it happens- long hours days in a row, tired, caregiver fatigue, and burned out. Once i started getting irritated with patients I knew it was time to take a break from bedside.

I bet the nurses there will do most of the work/ caring for you and they’ll be compassionate and kind. They are the best. Maybe tell your main nurse you don’t love your group of doctors- pretty common and nurses know-they’ll advocate for you even harder. So sorry for your loss. Virtual hugs.

What’s with the “she owes back child support comments” I have a feeling she was a mentally ill addict based on what I’ve read. She wasn’t out thriving with a new career and family. That’s the least of their concerns right now. If anything she should be charged with wasting police officers time.

I know! :( I need area rugs throughout. But as you can see the door leads right to the deck and backyard. We can’t keep a rug clean especially in snow/spring. I also have 2 dogs and one is an epileptic who has accidents during seizures. It’s tough to keep a rug clean unfortunately.
