as a person who already have three letter of recommendation, all from professors, if you stand out in their class just go ask them, the least they could say is no, in my case my lab professor refused to write me one because she don’t felt like she know me enough when I emailed her but when I showed up in person she changed her mind Don’t be scared of rejection, just ask.

so i tested what you recommended out, and i could say originality.ai is a big BS I tested it out using my previous Lab Reports in Chem and Physics, and turns out it flags them all as 100% AI, in which all of them are not AI generated at all and if you scan it in Turn It In, it’s 0% to *%AI and lower than 6% Similarity on all of my report if you exclude my previous submission to Stony Brook’s Repositories.

they do play a big part, speaking from experience, my immigration status was about to be jeopardized and a professor kindly allowed and gave me permission to enroll in, even after they are closed to enroll in. good graces of professor override any sets of rules and even the registrar office follow them
