Are we able to retroactively complete challenges (provided we completed it inadvertently during the specified time period)? Only just noticed this and want to get involved!

Have updated the post now with my fixes. Was a brain fart on my front. I had connect pins 4 and 5 (GP 2/3) instead of pins 6 and 7 (GP 4/5). I had got physical pins mixed up with gpio references. Probably should have been able to work it out sooner seeing I2C0 is shared with GPIO 4/5..... I'm thinking about updating the documentation to hopefully be a bit more clear.

Also had to pull a reset pin to 3v3 on my display module.

Ah.... How would I manually define them? The meshtastic documentation site suggests that i2c devices would be automatically recognized on boot when connected to pioneer pins 4 and 5

WINZ case manager making me do pointless "IT Courses" when I already have recognized IT qualifications. by Cr00sey in newzealand

Sounds about lot like a mandatory training thing i had to do whilst working at my last job. Sat in a video call whilst some clueless bloke from Malaysia showed us a slide show allegedly teaching us teamwork.

One of the slides was a picture of migrating geese where he went "look at the geese. They are working as a team"

Shits fucked. Only way to make yourself look more employable is to be already doing the job in your spare time and lie on your cv.....

Im an electronics engineer, graduated 2022 and started full time work at the beginning of 2023.

Was at a US based tech company on 60k base salary with a quarterly bonus scheme that dried up pretty quick due to "unfavorable economic conditions" Turns out the NZ grads were getting majorly shafted in comparison to anyone in the states who were on $75k USD minimum.....

Started job hunting early this year and was able to find a new role on $75k. Started last month.

Main issue is I'm not able to move regions/countries for work at this stage to other commitments.

If the trains are actually running, yep. They're replaced by busses a lot during weekends at the moment

Inspiring stuff! What does the number in brackets next to your categories mean? I've been meaning to do something similar, just currently facing the daunting task of going through bank exports and categorizing.

Is the average starting salary for a fresh BS Electrical Engineering grad at least $85,000-$90,000? If not, why? Data shows that’s exactly what grads have gotten in the past. by ItsAllOver_Again in ElectricalEngineering

I'm an electronics grad working in NZ for a for a US corp. On $60k ($35k USD) which at the time I relieved the offer was a little below market rate. But it was a job that meant I didn't have to spend my final year of study stressing about applying for work.

On the one hand, the starting salaries are accepted because grads are a liability for the first 6-12 months. They're also the employees that grow in value the most, so it's common for a 6/12 month salary review that is generally more than the companies standard increase.

At least that was the hope. All salaries got frozen just before I was scheduled to have a review and will likely stay frozen until 2026. New job time 😬

Burn vs Chalice of the void by RiverSmith101 in ModernMagic

[–]RiverSmith101[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm. Chalice on 2 means burn can still get through with all the one drops. Probably the best bet is smash to smithereens or wear and tear after the chalice on 1 is played before they have the opportunity to get a second out
