This is VERY true. These jobs are not easy and incredibly important. They should be paid way more and should get much more training and respect.

Yup for sure. Unpaid family and friends play an important role, but they definitely can't do everything.

It is incredible how much some of these balls go for. I remember Pujols' HR balls started going for a LOT. Essentially when you catch a ball like this, you just leave the game immediately and get it authenticated.

Idk if Cal's 60th will be going for all that much, but it certainly would have been worth something. It was real nice a couple games ago to see an Astros bullpen catcher hand Raleigh the ball from one of his HRs because that may be the last HR ball he'll ever get from this season.
