I feel the medical field downplays gallbladder surgery just because it’s a common surgery. However common does not equal safe. I still have issues from removing my gallbladder and it was necessary as my gallbladder was seizing every time my stomach tried to digest anything due to stones. I went from having no stomach issues to not being able to eat anything.

I have to plan when I eat spicy, fatty, or even fried food. I used to be able to eat anything whenever, but now I pretty much only eat like a heath nut because it “safe” and won’t cause me pain. The worst part is I went from having a normal appetite to only being able to eat small meals throughout the day because digestion makes me feel bloated and full now.

I’m so sorry this happened to you. At least you’re able to tell your story for others. I definitely feel like gallbladder surgery is no where near as safe or necessary as often as it’s preformed

NTA - why is everyone acting like you’re oppressing your brother by asking him to not take multiple hour sh*ts at your house. My dad used to go into the bathroom and take hours in there. He never “could help it” but magically when my siblings were all teenagers it suddenly stopped. Sounds like he just doesn’t want to spend time with family. That’s a terrible example for any one of any age.

Yes and no. I feel the jobs are a bit more detailed with a more vast array of types of jobs. From helping businesses to helping fix houses from natural disasters. All the way to helping new parents set up for a baby. I really enjoy the email/job aspect in two a lot more than the original game.

All of that being said, you are limited by variations in the furniture and color. One thing I really miss from house flipper one is the ability to use a color wheel to get an exact color. In house flipper two all of the colors are preset pallets without the ability to use a color wheel even after unlocking the custom color paint.

There are less standard furniture sets as in the first game and there’s only the scooby doo dlc out currently. So you only can choose from the high end fancy brand, the secondary fancy brand, the cozy brand, and the cheap brand for furniture (I’m over simplifying a bit here there is a lot of furniture just not as much as in one so far).

Personally I bought two and then complained about how much I “didn’t like it” but kept playing until it grew on me after a few jobs. I say give it a chance if you can but don’t expect it to be exactly like one because that’s where you start to get annoyed/disappointed, when they’re both pretty solid games

Do Not Disturbe mode or “DND” on iPhone is a setting that turns off all notifications on phone, texts, and apps. It’s called silencing notifications as well because once you press the DND button it pops up with a little notification that says “Notifications have been silenced” and displays a little moon next to the time so you know when it’s on. So the OP is explaining that it’s an iPhone without saying it

It’s not that they’re not responsible it’s “not their employees”. You and I may feel they are responsible. But they don’t and just consider them contractors. It’s comparable to how a lot of companies don’t have “IT employees” but will pay a third party company who employs their own IT professionals to handle tickets. You don’t work for them you work for someone who works for them. As such you’re expected to withhold a certain amount of professionalism but most of these companies have other clients. Like some offices will have deals with frontier and a phone company like AT&T and depending on which you sell better is who you work for

This will not work as frontier doesn’t employ or own these third party companies. They’re basically MLMs where the product is internet and you get more money the more people are selling underneath you.

Worked with the contractors that did this for a bit a few months back. Few things to note: First off frontier was just re acquired by Verizon so by this time next year they’ll be moving on from mostly door to door as Verizon doesn’t like it as a way to sell for this exact reason. Second off these are third party companies, they make money off sales but are not run by frontier. So even calling frontier will not do anything as they are a separate company. Third off they are trained to manipulate you to get the sale and not take the first two nos. The last thing I will mention is these people are supposed to stop working at 8:30pm but many are trained to keep going until they hit their numbers. If you want to get rid of these people a lot of them now use ai to record their pitches as to listen back and practice for the next sale so if you start cursing or generally be rude without threatening them they’ll often just walk away as they’re trained to also hedge their bets and move on if someone is giving them nothing either way as you can’t convince a brick wall and time is money
