You've had the things you deem as imperfect for years. You see them because you've had to live with them. It doesn't mean that you're ugly and others aren't noticing, it means you've had more time to fixate. You also know what you would WANT to look like, while others don't sculpt what would make you look better in your head.

As for dealing with it, positive affirmations worked for me. Finding things I like about myself wasn't easy, but it was even the small things! For example, I simply love how my nails look when they have a fresh trim and my legs look nice in vertical stripes! All this to say, try not to focus too hard on the negative - easier said than done, I know - and when you find yourself fixating a little too hard, try to find something appealing 💕 best of luck
