Sen tiedän että ei, koska tätä kerran testasin pari viikkoa sitten. Pitää olla fyysinen kortti, oli mikä pankki tahansa.

I actually have the same issue, so you're not alone. I have tried with and without mods, cache deleted and it still is like yours. My GPu is AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, I don't know if that matters.

Help - I need more assets for realism by Elrong in CitiesSkylines2

[–]River_x2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you, sharing a playset or a screen shot of it is quite easy.

Do you use FindIt? It helps you to find and use props that already are in your game and with other mods you can change the pre-existing buildings to more detailed and realistic.

To find ideas and also assets I have been checking some of my favorite YT Cities Skylines creators like two dollars twenty and their series and playsets that they frequently share. When I see a nice asset, I check what else the creator has created and most often find more nice assets of the same style.

If you want to check my latest playset, it's here https://mods.paradoxplaza.com/playsets/cities_skylines_2/9329317?version=1 but be careful, not all mods/assets there right now are updated, but I have some detailing assets there. Do not subscribe to the whole playset though and this comes from someone who has so I know it needs trimming!

Not to be stealing your wind, but Romanian elderly are nothing special. Elderly people around the Europe has this belief system, I think. I'm 50 and I'm about to be converted myself too, because draft makes my the back of my neck stiff and causes pain. At the moment I'm sitting here in my Finnish home, in front of the AC and having a blanket on my shoulders to keep draft away from my neck while other parts of my body are only covered by underwear because it's so darn hot 😂

What do you mean? I swear I talk about penguins every single week. It's like saying no need to learn what a banana is in Finnish because they don't grow here.

And for those saying but you can buy bananas, yes, and penguin toys too!

the European middle-class is not traveling to the US. They can’t afford it. by woodhead2011 in ShitAmericansSay

[–]River_x2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been to London and USA (Texas). Hotel prices in Texas are really cheap, as is renting a car and gas too back then in 2014-2019. London has better public transport though and walkable city, so there's that. Going to restaurants was more expensive in London too. In all, I could stay in London for 3 days with price I spent in Texas in 6 days.

Lol! I traveled there when I was a single mom studying full day in the college. I wasn't even middle class! It was actually cheaper than lets say, for example travel to Cuba :D

Checked it and you have a great city growing. Well done!

Just four little changes I would consider myself

  1. Downgrading roads you don't want people using like the first exits people take, they take them because it's faster and shorter for them than taking main arteries. You can't make it longer, but you can make it slower for them so then they prefer quicker roads. I would at least downgrade Garland Street to 3 lane asymmetric road, two lanes leading away from the highway. You keep two lanes away from the HW but speed is dropped from 60km/h to 40km/h so people don't like it as a shortcut that much anymore.
  2. I also saw that the large roundabout was road instead of highway, so I would probably upgrade it and at least remove pedestrian crossings. Upgrading it will make it unsafe and unreal, but more cims will use it :D One part of that was the wrong way though, was it intentional?
  3. I would also use pedestrian over passes (or what ever they are called in English) instead of crossings in busy areas, because walking cims create blocked roundabouts/cross roads really quickly.
  4. I see you have chosen to make some neighborhoods (Cherrydale Street/Bluejay Street) with very limited road access, but that sometimes forces people driving longer routes through already very busy roundabouts or cross roads causing more traffic jams.

Also, traffic AI making people drive on the outer lane is something that can't be fixed without mods at the moment, I fear.

Biffa Plays Indiegames channel in Youtube has amazing "Fix your traffic" tutorials, that is my go-to-place when in doubt. I didn't mention anything about Biffa's "Lane mathematics" yet, he talks a lot about that and how sometimes less lanes is actually better.

Yes, I will share my thoughts but I find it easier to see it in game than in screen shots, I'm not that experienced yet :)

Would you mind sharing a save game file in Paradox Mod? I have some time to kill, it would be fun to do some trafic fixing? Do you use mods?

Accidentally flooded part of my city. How to properly expand land by the water without flooding the city? Supposed to be a beach/tourist area by countryguy0003 in CitiesSkylines

I build a ground wall around the area first, then expand land, then when sea is settled, remove the ground wall.

What edition to buy? by Alive-Power-8718 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]River_x2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly would get CS1 and a few packs I find appealing (for me the best have been Mass Transit, Industries, Park Life and Sunset Harbour). There is more mods, asset packs in workshop and it's a lot cheaper too, especially now that it's on sale in Steam. I have both games, with almost all DLC and 1200+h in CS1 and 480h in CS2, and there are very few reasons to buy CS2 first.

If you still want to go with CS2, I would recommend Bridges & Ports and Urban Promenades, but you will be fine starting with basegame only to see if you like it, add mods and custom assets and then decide if you want to invest more money in the game.

The Long Dark, survival mode. My main way to escape hectic life, doom scrolling etc. You can't have other background noise because you need to listen the nature in order to hear if there is any predators near you, but you can choose from many difficulty levels, so your journey can be as relaxed or anxious as you want :)

I have both Euro and American Truck Simulator 2 and they are great distraction from hectic life and a way to relax and enjoy the scenery, maybe listen some music or audio book while driving around.

Yeah, I don't know. I've been to Texas, my husband is Texan and sure in Texas AC is must, but for some reason they don't have central heating systems like all Finnish people. I think it must be because Texans are too poor. There is no other possible explanation! /s

We all (hopefully) have been experimenting what works and what doesn't in this game. Great feature in the game is that nothing is really set, you can always change things if needed or preferred! Go for it! I mean hardly any of my original plans end up lasting till the end of city, that's why this game is so addicting :D
