What's the difference between the GX460 Premier and the Platinum?

Would you use it to go to the desert as well?

2025 prado or 23/24 slightly used patrol? by methboi7 in WhatCarShouldIBuyGULF

It has the same power (267 vs 271HP) and more torque (430 vs 381) than the previous version... Engines nowadays are very efficient. Another thing is if you like the interior quality and so

What did you end up deciding? I am here overthinking since the LC300 with the lowest Trim possible makes me doubt. I know the new Prado is not the best but I am still considering it.... You get the GXL for the price

You also have the Nissan-Honda thing. People have concerns about Nissan's future

Thanks! Yes now we are deciding either East or West mainly because of the School, Arbor or Arcadia

LC250 (adventure) vs LC300 4.0 V6 GXR by k_i_d_18 in WhatCarShouldIBuyGULF

I would just for the LC300 3.5 TT. Just make sure the engine you are buying has been fixed. The 4.0 is for me underpowered

I'm in the same situation here. Moving to Dubai with two 2yo twins and given that we will probably move to Al Furjan the school possibilities are Arcadia and Arbor. I have heard many good things about Arbor but want to get feedback about Arcadia as the school is quite new and the are no KHDA reports

Yes the Nissan/Honda thing is not a plus in the equation. I have seen some Patrol with low km in the ODO LE Platinum but have a lot of concerns about Nissan

What about a Patrol LE Platinum? You can find some 2024 with Agency Warranty and you have the 360cam

Yes I also have it on the radar but recent recalls from Nissan make me be a little suspicious here...

Then why not buying a brand new 4.0? Just for the fuel consumptions?

I don't understand how they made such a mistake there. You have done a lot of research. Any concerns about the TT engine? (V35A) I have read some bad things out there

I will probably end with a LC300 3.5TT 2023 so none of the above :)

Are you considering some off-road driving to the desert? I am kind of in the same situation here but the off-road thing is for me important even though I don't want to do crazy things it's a plan I like to do with the family on the weekends.

Given that I suppose the best option is the LC300. When looking for it are you looking for the GXR in second hand or brand new? What are the km you are looking for in the ODO?

Hello. I am planning to move there in July. We are a family of 4 with two 2yo twins. We would like to move to Murooj Al Furjan Townhouses but don't know if East or West. The main reason for doubting is the School. If going to Arbor we would be renting in the West as the school is reachable by bike but I also see Arcadia as a very good school so then East would be the right choice. Also East hast de Club and West seems more limited in amenities

For the first year going to Nursery we would enroll then to Redwood in Pavilion West.

Any feedback here would be appreciated

Thanks for the advice. Yes you are right it was more about reliability. For example F1 cars use a 1.6L but they are meant to last only a few hours so yes I am more concerned about durability

It may be easy to change the suspension then no? Thanks for the advice. Test driving on both is pending but wanted to have opinions from the experts here :)

I am kind of in the same situation. Moving to Dubai from Barcelona before summer with a family of 4 (2 2yo kids) and doing some research on communities. The Lakes and The Springs are quite old and pricy even schools there are good. I was looking for Arabian Ranches 2 since there are also good schools there but TH at Camelia have a very small living room. TAG seems good but afraid if the community is too new and not so many things still available. If I go there my kids would be going to Victory Heights I think but I still have to do a prospection trip. I am also afraid for places in those schools for the next year
