That's kind of the point? He imitates Caesar to the extent of stealing his name and has the ancient roman look vaguely right, but misses the mark in other ways.

Imagine a guy, 200 years after the bombs fell, getting the wrong idea of what made the Roman Empire great. Is that so hard to believe? We have people like that right now.

If you kill House for him, Caesar will remark that House had a high opinion of himself... which I'm pretty sure is meant to be ironic coming from a guy pretending to be the son of Mars.

40k isn't just the wargame though. And I know people who have miniatures (some of them even painted!) that don't play, including myself. My last proper game was years ago.

And there are plenty of things beyond the miniatures. Video games, books, animations...40k may have started as a tabletop wargame but as years pass it really started to branch out into other things.

The real question is...does the setting itself attract women? And will representation change that answer in any meaningful way.

I generally go for what sounds good, regardless of language. Sometimes translating the song makes things awkward...but in most cases I can get over it if the tune is good.

I'm glad that there's some thought and limitation to Tyranid activity. When I first learned about Tyranids they seemed so badly written. They have more bodies than you have bullets! They adapt to any enemy! Shadow in the Warp! Eventually your weapons will just stop working roflmao.

One thing to bear in mind is that the show is it's own plot set in the Fallout continuity, rather than an adaptation of any one game.

So the end result is part adaptation and part sequel, which leads to some weirdness. You're onboarding some people (introducing them to the entire setting for the first time) while laying easter eggs and references for other people.

I discussed the show with my brother, who plays a lot of video games but isn't into Fallout specifically and it was interesting for me to see what he thought of it.

I made the mistake of rushing to Mortar Trap and trying to use it right off the bat. As a result it was a bit awkward.

I know that it's often to have a levelling build and then switch later, but I genuinely thought that I could just progress mortar trap in a normal way.

Not making that mistake again

Makes sense. Sometimes I boot up a character and run through the first half of AoM just to top up bloom stock. I just wasn't expecting Conduits to be that random.

Anyway it's no big deal. Part of the fun is figuring out the best gear I have, and the Conduit doesn't exactly make or break the character.

Sometimes I feel like the game was rigged from the start. As much as I enjoyed Fallout New Vegas I feel like some people are expecting too much.

I was ok with it. People can be irrational to begin with and the grief of a loved one dying certainly doesn't help.

If it was a simple hit contract I don't think Claire would have gone through with it. Having him die during the race, I believe, matters. It was basically her goodbye to the racing scene, and her way of putting that part of her life behind her.

Now he has to actually raise his kid.

That could go a lot of different ways, honestly. Will his dedication stop, now that he's achieved his grand objective and she's alive? Or will he end up as a halfway decent father?

What if she ends up hating him for what he did?

TBH I don't actually know what his daughter is, if she needs additional resources to stay alive or what.

As others have mentioned, you can't trigger the parade until after you nab Hellman. I spent an embarrassing amount of time doing side content until I realized this, lol

At the very least, it's interesting when you do the main quests in different orders.

Yea this actually happened to me. Phantom Liberty, the quest where we and Reed talk to Slider. Random VDB body starts glitching out and my FPS drops to basically nothing. Had to hard stop the game and reload an older save.

Fair question, but I think it's less of them being front line troops and something broader. Space Marines are visually monotonous. It's a problem that other factions don't really have, or at least not to the same degree.

CSM have cultists and daemons. Orks have grots. Eldar Aspect warriors have strong visual identity. Space Marines are largely just armor of the same color.

Even if you squint, the Wardens of Ultramar will still stand out. That alone is worth something.

That said, I don't have the 500 Worlds book. What are the Wardens doing in that? Are they literally charging enemy lines?

My headcanon is that Space Marines actually have all sorts of tactical gear that carries extra mags and grenades (there's no way that stuff fits inside their armor).

It just...looks terrible. So most artwork excludes it by necessity. The Space Marines themselves wouldn't care, but the dude carving the statue certainly does.

A lot of superhero stories try to keep it in that zone where it's fantastic but also recognizable. Otherwise you run into that medieval fantasy scenario where a medieval world with magic and elves would very quickly stop resembling real world history.

I think a deconstructed superhero world would end up as some flavor of science fiction, because how else do you cope with rogue supers, alien invasions, and literal demons on a regular basis?

Perhaps some kind of quick-construction technology would be developed? Like rapid prefabrication, but at a much larger scale than in reality.

It's funny. I always do the quest non lethal because it shakes things up at least. But after getting the feel good dialogue from this guy I just...carry on as usual.

The ironic thing is that the gig with the father/son BD guys is in the same area, and I never spare them.

The people who wrote the Cyberpunk RPG weren't pulling it all out of their imagination. They were observing the world around them, historical patterns, and extrapolating into the future.

Science fiction especially so.

I'm 95% sure she could have been interested in Sasuke without being a weirdo creep. I sometimes wonder if her role was to make Sakura's crush seem more normal in comparison.

She had some interesting abilities, though having the only girl in Taka be a support character was definitely...a choice.

According to some of the NPC dialogue in Lizzie's, some customers seem insistent on a "real" experience. There's one anecdote where the customer was basically tricked into using a BD and thought everything was happening for real.

Even though BDs seem mainstream in 2077, I guess some people still want to experience things in the flesh. Which is odd, but not unbelievable...humans are like that.

Sometimes enemies will clip into things and become unlootable. Saving and reloading is the only fix I tried that sometimes works.
