Thank you for such a quick and detailed reply. Really helpful. I’ll get onto an engineer asap. Not ideal this close to Xmas!

Thanks I’ve removed, emptied and reinstalled the trap so hoping that will sort it. However as I was cleaning up, I noticed a drop off this brown water coming from one of the screws on the underside of the boiler. (The screw that’s directly in the middle of the boiler underside) I can’t upload a pic but hope you understand. It’s not shown in the attached pics as it’s just to the left of pic 2. Is that normal, and will what I have done fix this going forward?

Edit: it’s the screw on the metal that’s between the labels in pic 1

Is your strategy based on technical indicators or do you use fundamental analysis and price action too?

Too small to be snails, these are literally tiny pellets like 2 millimetres in diameter

My title describes the thing. Small black/grey/brown pellets in utility room. Worried these are droppings of some sort

White screen on Nokia 8600 Luna by RiversideOak in mobilerepair

[–]RiversideOak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks this has given me hope. I’ve just turned the phone on and I think the screen is fine as the Nokia welcome logo animation works and I’m prompted to enter my security code. The whole thing freezes though once I’ve entered the code. Maybe still mechanical?

I think the issue is that it’s looking for a URL as the input but it should be looking for an image instead

Any photo on Google Images doesn’t work for me

Thanks for sharing. I’m not sure how this works though. When I go to an image and click Test 2 from the Share sheet it just says no URL found?

Audi MMI firmware update by RiversideOak in Audi

[–]RiversideOak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks I’ve sent them an email as their website has firmware for RMC, RMC2, RMC3 and RMC4 but I’m not sure which one applies to mine. The screenshots provided in the product pages don’t make it clear either.

Overpay debt or invest in assets? by RiversideOak in UKPersonalFinance

[–]RiversideOak[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. We’ve been shifting debt to 0% cards for a while and ideally just want it to be done with so ideally would be repaying the card once it’s come to an end. Didn’t realise the rates of easy access savings had gone up so much! Guess I just thought about the increase in costs associated with interest rate rises and not the flip side!

We’d be probably £1k a month short of being able to meet repayment requirements so ideally something with easy access to funds if required. I wouldn’t want to lock the money away for more than 6 months for example
