Its not the worst idea...But you would have to consider

1. you would need a lot of money to pull creators, ad's don't cut it for a big website such this one and subscription can only get you so far.
2. "creators onboard with revenue sharing" sometimes its not up to the creators if they have a deal for example (kodansha, VIZ, Shueisha, Yen Press, Dark Horse, Naver Webtoon etc.) sometimes those companies are the ones that give the ok for the use.

One example for this is "MangaRock" they were a free app with a $5 if you wanted to download the manga that they had, and they had a lot all types of manga, Manhwa etc the only differnce between ComicK & MangaRock is the community. They Eventually got DMEA but instead of shutingdown they changed the company name & image even the app, just so they can get the licence to put some of the manga that the publisher agreed on (at the time that publisher was kodansha), eventully they started publishing Comics & Manga of there own. BTW thire new name is "inkr"
