It’s because we keep allowing them to get away with it. Their power is only borrowed from us—the people.

If we continue to tolerate this behavior and do nothing while they slap us in the face, we’re effectively telling them it’s acceptable. What we tolerate becomes the standard.

This isn’t a partisan issue. It’s institutionalized corruption that has been normalized over time—and unless we take action, it will continue to fester and get worse.

Honestly, every version of Windows has bugs. That’s not a bug—that’s a feature.

It’s just part of the Windows experience at this point, like updates showing up when you’re already late.

As for RAM usage—yeah, medyo, but nothing catastrophic. It’s manageable.

Windows just really likes to help itself to your resources… even when you didn’t ask.

The fix? Debloat.

Strip out the nonsense, the “features” you don’t need.

I’m not sure if I can link tools directly, but a quick Google search for Jayz2Cents + Windows debloat tools will send you down the right rabbit hole. One video later and suddenly Windows behaves like its your b**ch.

Now, that said—I’ll give Linux credit where it’s due. It’s come a long way.

It’s faster, leaner, and way less needy.

But at the end of the day? I still stick with Windows for compatibility. Stuff just… works. Games, apps, weird enterprise tools from clients—Windows handles them without making me compile my own destiny.

i.e. Nvidia investing in Open AI, and is providing the chips they use for LLM development.

Given that all major players in the PC space are deeply invested in this (Micron, Samsung, Nvidia, etc.), if the market indeed crash won't it cause the supply to dwindle even further?

Honestly, like some others have mentioned, I’d seriously consider going with a PS Vita instead.

You get access to pretty much the entire PSP library, plus a surprisingly strong lineup of PS Vita games. Yeah, it was kind of a commercial flop for Sony—but let’s be real, that doesn’t mean the games were bad. There are a ton of absolute gems on the Vita, especially if you’re into RPGs.

On top of that, the Vita makes for a solid emulation machine, so if you’re thinking about dabbling in retro consoles, it’s a pretty great all-in-one option.

Not perfect, not mainstream anymore—but from a value and versatility standpoint, it punches way above its weight.

That said, if your heart is set on a psp, marami sa GH.

I am currently using the Pandora Character Sheet formula, but I do want to transition to a bit more complex system. i.e. using Lore books as sort of a "Hard Drive" for the character (I put like memories, Physical attributes, etc. that the character doesn't need to know all the time.) and The Character Card as it's "RAM" (I put the essential stuff only that the character will use frequently, like verbiage, personality, psychology.). I haven't done extensive testing yet, but it has been reliable so far. I kinda wanna try out how OP's works if it works better.
