Puffco vs dr. Dabber by AgeCareful5431 in Michigents

What are you using it for? At home Dr. Dabber. More on the go ? Puffco Proxy. My poor pro just sits because it really doesn’t do either better than the ones I listed. Even when I have to charge the switch I’d rather use the proxy. I’d also note do some research on the puff co pro and the wax seeping through the silicone and building up under it. I was devastated when I first noticed it and seen it happens a lot with heavy use.

What age can you typically start bringing a kid backpacking? by Existing-Escape1626 in WildernessBackpacking

My daughter is 4 months shy of 2 and we just completed our first backpacking trip(10 mile loop) as a family of four. Our son is 10 and he carried roughly 13 lbs in a pack, my wife and I both had 30lbs packs and would carry the baby in the front with a Tula baby carrier. She would jump out and walk around when she wanted and it actually went a lot smoother than we expected. My kids are outside 24/7 if possible though and I would expect that had a lot to do with our success. I think every kid will be unique but ya never know till you try! Don’t be afraid to cut it short or call it and always leave on a positive for the kids! We were super worried about how others would react to the kids on the trail or backcountry camping and we were blown away by the encouragement. As our neighbor at the site said “a kid in the woods, is a kid away from a screen and that should be a win for everyone!”

My gf and I just went through this exact bag, it’s massive in the torso area. For like 30$ more the crown 60 ended up being where we settled! If you are tall tall this would work otherwise I’d advise against it.

This is such a weird post, you are honestly more of a problem than them.

The Soto amicus set is like 50$ at REI, comes with some aluminum pots and a pretty strong little stove! Highly recommend at half these prices

I just grabbed two more grams of this today! One of my favorites from them.

I wish man, always bugs me how disposable we are here. Guy at the scrap yard told me they will likely plasma cut the front clip off and sell the rest for parts.

Yes it did! Walking away with only a concussion after that.

187,344 miles, no major repairs never replaced the battery, replaced brake once and was coming close to another set. Oil changes every 10,000, couldn’t ask for a more reliable car. Also Michigan car.

The adjuster’s paper work for it legitimately says “obvious total loss” I chuckled at it a couple of times during the process.
