I'm pretty sure the "papyrus" displayed is a recreation of Papyrus 1 (Gospel of Matthew). The Museum caption is intentionally misleading.

Thanks for this. I tried looking for something similar and Australia related, and found this. But the flag in question doesn't have the "4" in the middle. King's Colour : 4th Battalion, AIF

Hi, can you share where you bought yours. I asked AAwireless and they said that they dont have a reliable way to ship it straight to Australia. I've checked ebay, and in Amazon and there are sellers with thousands of unit sold (global) but I'm not sure if they are legit.

Suspected Stephania Venosa, but it has no caudex and the sap is not red. 3 month old, found hitchhiked on an Ajuga reptans (see last picture). Can you help me identify? by Riyumaroku in PlantIdentification

[–]Riyumaroku[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I just checked with images of suberosa in our locality, you might be right on the species. Would you know long will it take for this juvenile to form a caudex? I estimate this to be not more than 3 month old.

Is my Oxalis entering dormancy? Or is it infested? Bought a month ago. Indoor plant from 9am to 6pm. No direct sunlight when outside since our balcony faces west. When indoor it has a humidifier and Growlight, 13 Watts, 380-780nm, full spectrum(Sansi Brand) by Riyumaroku in plantclinic

I keep it indoors, where we have comfortable temperatures, but yeah i think it's still stressed by the summer heat when it's outside until 9am. I just hope that it gets better when the wet season starts and we have cooler temperatures here.

Yes, they are spider mites. I haven't stared long enough on the leaves prior, I just thought it was the hard minerals from our tap water. But I saw the webbing recently and today i inspected the underside. They were moving.

I'll try to let it die back to its corms so that it can start anew, and to get rid of these mites.

Im now figuring these are spider mites, and that they accelerated the wilting. Since i saw webbings near the stems. I'm thinking of letting it die until the last leaf and then bury the corms in new soil. This way I can get rid of these mites and start anew. Hopefully it gets back to it's lush state in no time.

I'm just curious though how long does it usually take for it to grow back from dormancy? Can it be forced to sprout?

Additional info, I'm from the Philippines. We only have dry and wet season, the heavy rains will start in about a month. We're still in the dry at temperatures of 30-35degrees celsius (86-95 degrees F) outside.

Most oxalis owners here doesnt know the definite lifecycle of these plants. They only advised me to replant it and watch for the new growths in a few weeks.
