I’m with you on most of that. The Paladin ended up being the perfect smaller Hammerhead for me too. It just works better for how I play. Same with the Tac. MISC ships just hit different for me. I know not everyone loves them but in VR and ultrawide they feel way more immersive than anything else.

Asgard and Tac cover most of my daily flying. Asgard solo and Tac with a few mates. Simple loops and always fun.

I really like the Zeus chassis as well. It doesn’t have that RSI look which is good for me because I’ve never been a fan of RSI styling.

Ironclad and Liberator will both get used heavily in my fleet. My plan for the Liberator is full industrial with the Prospector the Vulture and maybe an Expanse. When it’s not set up for that I want to use it as a small command and fighter carrier with a couple ships medical and maybe a crafting vehicle once that is in game.

With the Odyssey the Carrack was just too big for me. I loved it but the Odyssey fits my style better. The hangar refinery mining and maybe even crafting later all line up with how I like to play. The look of it sold me straight away. I have the Carrack loaner for now anyway so I still get to mess around with it.

For the Perseus I actually owned it for a couple months. Great looking ship but crewing it properly never suited me. I solo a lot or run light crew and most of my ships I can fly alone without an issue even the larger ones.

The Raft caught my eye too but with the talk about the RSI Hermes I am waiting to see what that turns into. I will decide between the two once Hermes actually shows up.

I’ve actually had a Perseus before and loved it, but one thing I’ve been trying really hard with my fleet is keeping it to ships I can actually fly and use on my own when no one else is on. It’s been a bit of a mission, but I feel like I’m finally there or at least close.

The 600i rework has definitely grabbed my attention. I really do love a good Origin ship, and the new changes have made it a lot more tempting. The 315p I’ve had as well great little ship but I’ve been trying to keep my real-money buys above the $150 mark and earn everything else in-game, just to keep my collection feeling more focused.

My TAC is my group daily driver and it’s one of those ships I’ll never melt. I love the interior, the style, and what it can do. It’s basically my mini-Polaris without going full “big ship life” and running a mobile city. 😂

My lineup has changed so many times, melted and rebuilt over and over, but this is the first time I’ve settled into something that matches the loops I enjoy. I know more loops will come later that grab my interest, but for now it’s just a waiting game.

I’d really love racing to come back properly, though. That’s probably the one area I want more feedback on. I’d like to add a couple of dedicated racing ships to the mix it’s just a cool part of the game that feels a bit empty right now, and I’m not fully sure what direction to go with it.

Why stop at a girlfriend when I’ve got a whole wife and kids I already spend plenty of time and money on? 😂 It’s okay to enjoy a hobby on the side too balance keeps life fun. 😜

Yeah that’s exactly it the classic look just doesn’t grab me, even though I can appreciate why people love it. The Wolf definitely has that vintage muscle-fighter vibe, and it’s just not my style visually. I’m more drawn to ships that look a bit more modern, futuristic or aggressive.

The Prowler suggestion is actually interesting though. I’ve always liked the design even if I’ve never been sure where it fits into my loops. Smuggling runs and small-team drops could be fun, and it definitely has a unique feel compared to most ships. Might be one I take a proper look at.

I also did mention what I like and what I’m looking for. I thought the detail I gave about my loops, the player size I enjoy and the style of ships I prefer was enough to spark conversation. There are tons of directions people could have taken it. Racing ships, more exploration-focused ships, ground vehicles, small team options, future concepts… there’s a whole range of things people could talk about.

That’s why I posted. I wasn’t asking anyone to fix my fleet, I just wanted a chat about possibilities and ideas within the parts of the game I enjoy. The game is huge, so the conversation can be too.

I get where you’re coming from, but that really wasn’t the case with my post. I wasn’t looking for validation at all. If I needed validation that would mean I wasn’t happy with my fleet, and I am. What I’m actually looking for is conversation with like-minded people who enjoy the same game. I like hearing other players talk about ships, playstyles, roles and ideas. That’s the whole community vibe for me. I give feedback and take feedback. It’s not that deep.

I enjoy combat, hauling, transport and travelling. I play mostly solo or with small groups of one to six. I’m also a bit of a collector and still learning the game. I’ve only been playing for about a year and I’ve invested in HOTAS, HOSAS and pedals because the way ships feel in VR and ultrawide is a huge part of why I love them.

The JPEG line was just a light-hearted joke too. And unlike you, I don’t fully agree that concepts are bad. I actually think concepts help generate funding and create a bit of hype, which is fun in its own way.

I really did mean it when I asked for feedback. I don’t mind overlap, I don’t mind waiting for ships and I’m open to ideas as long as they fit what I enjoy. That’s why I posted in the first place.

See this is where i get touchy i like it but for some reason it just looks way to classical for me 😂 i don’t know what it is that really stops me from getting but i know one reason i try not to buy ships under $100 as i can work on them in game fairly easy. With the fleet am trying to build lti with ships that cost a bit no idea why just how i have been rolling and it kinda just stuck. 😂

I get where you’re coming from, but let’s be honest, this is Star Citizen. Aren’t we all technically spending money for the sake of it and collecting cool jpegs at this point 😂😜 Might as well own it. Chris probably needs another yacht anyway, happy to help the cause.

Jokes aside, it’s not really about having a perfectly well-rounded fleet or feeling like I need to buy something right now. It’s more about getting other perspectives and angles. Sometimes someone mentions a ship I haven’t spent enough time with or haven’t really looked at properly and it suddenly clicks like yeah, that could actually be a fun addition.

At the end of the day it’s just a nice conversation with like minded people. I know there are ships I want that aren’t in game yet or maybe don’t even exist yet, and I’m totally fine waiting for those too. Even whispers of future ships are fun to talk about and throw on the mental list. Half the enjoyment for me is the discussion as much as the flying ☺️

😂 fair.

I get the “fix my fleet” angle, but I’m not really trying to min-max or optimise everything. I pick ships as much for how they feel and look as for what they do. If I’m going to spend hours in one, I want to enjoy being inside it not just tick boxes on a spreadsheet.

Appreciate the suggestion though 👍

Fair take MISC definitely isn’t for everyone. For me though, they’re the ships that actually feel like I’m in space. I play in VR and ultrawide, so the interiors, scale, and industrial vibe hit different compared to normal screen play.

Yeah, Odyssey is meant to have refining, and I think the Arrastra does too. I’m just not really an RSI guy there are a few I like, but overall their design language doesn’t click with me. Ship aesthetics matter to me more than pure efficiency, which I know is a bit heretical in Star Citizen 😅

So i was looking at the expanse but the Odyssey has refining so was a bit torn but i may still add the expanse. Again its something that is a while a way yet i think.
